I'm not making any assumptions about what the oline will look like.  The press, I think is doing that based on who was active last year.  My guess is that they will likely add olinemen in the draft and have a full scale competition in camp for the starting center.

Hate this move.  We finally got our Oline right, and you immediately start to dismantle it.  How about we add a WR, but otherwise leave our offense alone.  The defense is what's been a colossal failure in the playoffs each year, and could be completely blown up for all I care.

Love Morse but this is in the best interest of the Bills for years to come, not just Morse, Harty, Poyer, White....this is what they needed to do.  So glad Beane did not try kicking the can down the road again.

I could still see Morse coming back. I'm not sure there's going to be a huge market for a center at his age and concussion history. Could see this as a favor to him to try to get another solid contract but could come back here at a lower price

I have like our depth, and this is a draft full of offensive line prospects that we can add. Whew what a day, might be more to come🧐

i imagine this is the case

 

FWIW Dallas center Tyler Biadasz is a free agent and it seems Dallas is in the same boat with him as they were with mcgovern last year and connor williams the year before.  So maybe the bills end up interested in him for a mid level deal with small cap numbers the first few years.

 

I have to think they have at least one more guy in camp who is a real center and not just anderson and mcgovern.  

 

I know this, the bills ran left a hell of a lot in clutch situations last year and if moving mcgovern upsets the running game which was the strength last year...then what?

Like said up thread, this has been planned out for some time now, they know who they want as new blood on the team, and they will go out and get them, I mean Bates, Hines, Harty are not like key guys and neither are some of the others, imo the O-line will be as good or better than last season, on the D side, lots of hungry young guys fighting for jobs and their futures,  I’m not concerned, this all had to happen, we know and understand this, it will be interesting and exciting to watch the team be recreated,

Edwards is a below avg guard and who the heck knows if McGovern can play center.
