A really douche bag type of thing but many players have used it. We got a QB for a year from Dallass that way. Why wouldn’t he just play for the Eagles? He’s only set to get $6.5M in cash this season. That seems doable for the Bills, but again, why?Why would he choose to change teams and learn a new system for one season rather than stay where he is beloved and knows the players and system? It really makes no sense. Also his retirement paperwork has not been processed yet. That tells me that they’ll do it post 6/1 to push some cap hit into next season. That’s possible because he has void years on his contract. Quote

Augie Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I don’t think bringing guys out of retirement is in the official handbook for how to get younger and cheaper as a team. 1 1 Quote
Mango Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I like Jason. He would be perfect for Buffalo. But he has a couple of kids with another on the way. His wife is Philly born and raised. Their family is there and he has no need for another pay check. There is no way he takes off to Buffalo for -6-8 months and either leaves his wife home alone pregnant/with a new born or pulls her away from her family so that he can play for a year or two in Buffalo. It would be awesome but I would be shocked if it ever happened. 1 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Dang didnt know people disliked Jason Kelce so much. That said, as a player I think he was in decline. He tried giving the Eagles game away when they were here last season. Enjoy your family and your money while you're still young and healthy. Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Can't stand Travis, but Jason is great and he would be fun to have here. That being said, it ain't happening, makes no sense for us, and if he does go back and play it will 100% be Eagles as no one is trading draft assets for an old center on a 1 year rental. Quote
