The trade led to three Cowboys Super Bowl Titles: 92, 93 and 95. That trade was before the cap. 1 Quote

I am not sure he is a very good Quarterback. He was the worst starter in football in 2022. He was slightly better in 2023 but still bottom 3rd. But you are right about the locker room stuff. Some of what I have heard about Seattle was truly unbelievable. And you just have to hear how the guys off that team talk about him. Normally players will go to bat for a QB who helped them get a ring, however, with that squad their defense of Russ is always flimsy and conditional. Which makes the think I should believe the unbelievable. 3 2 Quote

I don't think he's a jerk I just don't think he fit in with the locker room culture That doesn't even scratch the surface. Trust me. 1 Quote

Alphadawg7 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Looking around the league, it is REALLY hard to find a team that makes a lot of sense from the stand point of being an NFL starter. From a team need perspective, Steelers are the only one I can look at and Wilson likely makes that team better on the field, and that is more about how bad the Steeler QB's are than it is about how good Wilson is today. With the defense and run game, Wilson doesn't have to carry the offense kind of like the early days in Seattle when they went to back to back SB's winning one. However, from a culture stand point, Steelers feel like a bad fit and I have a hard time seeing Pittsburgh being interested. So I don't know where he goes and gets a chance to start other than to say keep the seat warm for a rookie. And you got to imagine teams are going to be concerned after the Broncos said they would rather have an $85M dead cap hit than see him QB another game for them. I mean, thats a pretty huge statement and from a team that has Sean Payton as an offensive HC. Quote

78thealltimegreat Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Time to discuss trading Josh Allen at the draft and signing Russ to a vet minimum so they can load up on defense…about 10 people on this board…probably 1 Quote

You walk right into Adams as a #1 and you can hold off on the qb search for a couple years. I think Payton as HC hindered them more than anything But I think ATL would be crazy not to make an offer and I think they'll be the top suitor 1 Quote

True, might as well wait and see, just go post June 1 if he’s still less valuable on the field than he is being off it. Quote
