DJB Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Not sure there will be any takers with the cap he carries. My guess is he’s simply cut Edited February 28 by DJB 2 Quote

Question is what the Jets would want as compensation, am thinking highest they could get be a 5th but that might even be too much. 1 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I'd offer a pair of used boxer shorts and $5 dollar off voucher for Wendy's. 2 1 Quote

My guess is he’s simply cut They won't get much that is for sure if a trade is worked. But maybe a team is willing to take a chance on him. From a physical skills standpoint he is pretty good. He can make all the throws you need to make at the NFL level. He can scramble to avoid the rush as well as make plays running like Josh does. With him it's all mental. He doesn't trust what he is seeing out there and understanding what looks the defense is giving him. It's a big reason why he makes bad decisions with the ball. Throwing INT's or taking sacks because he holds on to the ball too long. I don't know if that is fixable or not. Quote
Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD Posted February 28 Posted February 28 The comparison here is Trey Lance because of the draft position and cap hit and the 49ers were able to get a 4th round pick. There are a few teams out there with a ton of cap room who want to add a qb to the competition. I think the Commanders, Bears, Patriots, and Raiders could deal a late round pick for him. Quote
Low Positive Posted February 28 Posted February 28 We can laugh, but I want Zach Wilson and Mac Jones to turn into productive NFL QBs. That would be torture for Jets and Pats fans and I'm here for that. 3 9 Quote

Plenty of talent and some of the worst coaching I’ve ever seen the last few years (especially last year) Just now, Low Positive said: We can laugh, but I want Zach Wilson and Mac Jones to turn into productive NFL QBs. 947 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 No team will trade for Zach Wilson. Even if somebody was thinking he'd be worth a 7th round pick, the entire world knows he's going to be cut. Quote

Wilson to the Giants and leading them to the SB only to face the Bills. In the SB, Zach turns back into a pumpkin and throws three pick-sixes. Bills win and both Jets and Giants fans cry. 2 1 Quote

I don’t know, with Lance there’s still an element of unknown and upside. Wilson’s shown enough to me that he just sucks. 1 Quote

mushypeaches Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Why would you trade for Zach Wilson when Josh Rosen is still out there and available??? 2 Quote

Is Rosen even in the league anymore. I know he went from team to team for a while, but I haven't heard anything about him recently. Quote
