Nephilim17 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I hate the Chiefs as a team but I love this. This is a bigger achievement than anything any player can do on a field. 5 2 1 Quote

The Jokeman Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Good on him, he has a history with Brady at LSU. I wonder if we could get him cheap to replace Harris/Murray as change of pace back. 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Biggest impact he’s made in KC in years 1 1 4 Quote
BuffaloBill Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Nothing but respect for his actions. We often hear of the negative with various athletes, its nice to experience the opposite once and a while. 1 4 Quote

Between the Brady connection, the fact he's played big against the Bills and now him showing what kind of character he has it wouldn't shock me at all to see him here. He shouldn't command much on the open market. That is, if he doesn't re-sign with the Chiefs to stay on and back up Pacheco. Quote

He's 3rd on the pecking order in KC assuming McKinnon is still there/healthy. He might be looking for a change of scenery since he got bumped by Pacheco etc. Yet he wouldn't start here so he might still go elsewhere yet think he's a good compliment to Cook. Of course I could also see going after AJ Dillon or drafting someone late like Isaiah Davis in the draft to give us a "bigger" back. Quote
Warcodered Posted February 23 Posted February 23 That's a great thing to hear. Now for the jokes. Chiefs Coaching staff/FO conflicted on feelings of player committing opposite of a crime. 1 Quote
Logic Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) Good on him. Selfless, heroic act in a high stress moment. Bravo. And now for a little football talk... CEH is just 24 years old, was a recent 1st round pick, had over 1,000 yards from scrimmage as a rookie, and has history with Joe Brady. I thought he actually looked pretty good in the limited opportunities he got late in the Chiefs' season in the playoffs. If he's looking to resuscitate his career on another high octane offense and with a coach with whom he had great success in college, I'm all for signing CEH. Doubt he's going to command big money of any kind. Sometimes you just need an opportunity and a fresh start (see Moss, Zack). Edited February 23 by Logic 1 1 Quote

They are superior humans and eat Buffalos for lunch. Edited February 24 by Saint Doug 1 Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I'm proud to say that I think a chiefs player is an awesome person. That's what makes a man, not what he does in the field. 1 Quote
JakeFrommStateFarm Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Josh would have done it too. Only the bullets would have bounced off his cape Quote
