Throw in Bautista too. There’s no talk about Kremer. Hopefully Irvin, Suarez and Kimbrel can stay the course.

If Bradish is truly down, and it feels that way, they may have to part with a few hitting prospects for Crochet, but they will have competition. Not sure how many starters that move the needle will be out there.
Gregg
Cole to make his first Yankees start this season on Wednesday vs the Orioles.
Gregg
Rizzo out 4 to 6 weeks. Broken arm. Ben Rice called up. https://www.milb.com/player/ben-rice-700250
US Egg
Rizzo’s been a disappointment and probably gone next year. It shouldn’t be a problem replacing his production. This Rice kid hasn’t been exactly tearing it up, but, he’s been the hyped prospect. We’ll see….
Gregg
Scary moment last night when Judge was HBP on the hand. Thankfully x-rays negative. Nice win over Orioles to start a big series.

I'm a O's fan and even I think thats crazy Just now, Mike in Horseheads said: On 6/16/2024 at 1:13 AM, 4merper4mer said: If Bradish is truly down, and it feels that way, they may have to part with a few hitting prospects for Crochet, but they will have competition. They have also now lost Danny Columbe until Sept at the earliest after surgery for bone chips in his elbow Edited June 20 by Mike in Horseheads
US Egg
p.s.…..I’m a Yankees fan, but, a beat down is a beat down. Didn’t care for the plunking last night. Edited June 20 by US Egg
Gregg
When you give up 2 touchdowns and a FG's worth of runs then move on. Bad game and give the Orioles credit.
Gregg
Rough week losing 4 of 6 to the Orioles and Braves. Losing Stanton in lineup will hurt as he was having a good year. Anyway, onto the Subway Series vs the Mets. The Yankees need to get back to their winning ways.

The near record of quality starts have been carrying them imo. Stay around .600 for the duration and all is well.
Gregg
Well, that Subway Series sucked. Hopefully the Yankees can turn this around as the past 2 weeks have been a rough stretch.
BADOLBILZ
What a season Judge is having. Could he get to 63? I suspect they will get out of their rut soon. Buffoone is slow to recognize the obvious need for change. Rizzo was finished a month before his broken arm opened the door for Ben Rice. Gleyber Tortoise should have been put on waivers a couple weeks ago and dealt for what they can get for the pending FA. He is second amongst all major leaguers with 12 errors. He needs to be a near 800 OPS guy to justify playing and he just isn't that. Looks fat and out of shape in what should be his walk year. Le Pew is also finished. Need to let Cabrera get at bats and give some youngsters the chance in the infield. Also, Wells needs to be catching 2 out of 3 games. Gotta develop these guys. Youth will be served and youth gets you thru the dog days of summer that are coming.
