Gregg Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Big game from Stanton last night. Finish it tonight. I don't want to see a game 5 in the Bronx. Let's Go Yankees. P.S. What the F happened to Judge. Still hitless in these playoffs. He is no Reggie "Mr. October" Jackson. That is for damn sure. Quote
Doc Brown Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Rooting for a Subway Series. The top two payrolls in baseball should always get to the World Series. 1 Quote
US Egg Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Now that Judge has a hit is his “I’m a great hitting coach” gonna tell us how he’s carrying the Yankees again? Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Indians win! It will be Clev vs NY (AL) in ALCS 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted October 16 Posted October 16 The TBS announcers are essentially acting as the Cleveland broadcast team. I am really ****ing sick of their "how can the team playing the Yankees win" bias. It's absolutely ridiculous. Every Cleveland pitcher is the greatest reliever in baseball. Look, they’re absolutely good pitchers. But there is NO talk about the Yankees in the same way. Quote
US Egg Posted October 16 Posted October 16 Cole wasn’t sharp, should have been pulled after the 4th. Cleveland had him on the ropes in the 5th. Announcers gushing over Judge HR like fanboys merited a volume turn down. Quote
4merper4mer Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Todays game proved for the 1000000000000th time that there is nothing quite like a great baseball game. 1 Quote
Big Blitz Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Wells and Jazz are a combined 5-49 in the post season. That’s the middle of the order. The bullpen is a sham. Weaver is gassed. Holmes still sucks. We had 6 hits today. We had 2nd and 3rd no outs in the 9th and Wells struck out - that can’t happen. Quote

Last night was a gut punch type of loss. When Judge and Stanton hit back-to-back HR's, I was going nuts. Then to lose it like they did was depressing. Need to get at least one of these next two games in Cleveland. I hope the Yanks can win both and end it in 5 but coming home 3-2 I would feel very confident they can end it in the Bronx. Quote

jkeerie Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Another great game in game 4. Yankee bullpen was shaky blowing a 6-2 lead. Bottom of the order came through with 2 runs in the 9th, and Kahnle came through for the save. Whew! 1 Quote
Awwufelloff Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Just got tickets to the game tomorrow, cheaper than Bills tickets for Sunday 1 Quote
US Egg Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Dodgers/Yankees, Mets/Yankees. Either way the baseball Overlords are very happy. Me too. 1 Quote
Johnnycage46 Posted October 20 Posted October 20 I am not a baseball fan generally, but that Soto at bat and the Homer was pretty cool! 1 Quote
