The “he wouldn’t be as good in Buffalo as he is in KC” trope is the stupidest argument Bills fans make to help themselves feel better.

Mahomes would absolutely be as good as he is.

Andy Reid is a great coach. Great offensive mind. No question about it.

But Andy Reid doesn’t you know, play the position.

3 Super Bowl MVP’s and 2 NFL MVP’s aren’t because of Andy Reid.

And then people saying Josh is actually better than Mahomes is. Thats a serious LOL.

What an absolute crock of ***** some of you feed yourselves.

Like the Chiefs, the Bills need to hit on some defensive guys and McDermott not be afraid to start them on day 1.  KC just won a SB with young draft picks and an efficient but certainly NOT great offense.  We have the QB, give him some talent to work with... but in the end the QB can get you there but defense wins championships.

And? You can’t be critical without the ridiculous idea that we should fire McDermott?

Let’s just waste Allen’s whole career watching McDermott get abused by Reid 👍🏻

We are simply blocked by an all time great QB.  There doesn't have to be any other excuses beyond that.

the all time great Qb that McDermott traded 🥴🥴🥴

the first and second half offense seemed very different once the chiefs defense started killing them

guess the excuse machine has some validity with Bernard out but sheesh.

Why do people think he’s holding back the offense? Josh is doing great things. What do people think Josh is going to do with another head coach? 50-60 TDs every year?

You guys make no sense. The offense is good and the defense is good under McDermott.

McDermott has also been one of the most consistently aggressive head coaches in the league. One of the pass heaviest head coaches in the league, although not under Joe Brady.

I know I know, vs 2 of the top 4 QBs in the league he got outclassed. But no one talks about him shutting down Lamar Jackson in the playoffs also.

Let’s also remember Josh Allen was not a number 1 overall can’t miss prospect. To think McDermott had zero impact on his development is crazy.

The "Fire McDermott Brigade" isn't interested in reality, so you are wasting your time and energy.  It's members inhabit a fantasy universe in which replacing Sean McDermott with any has-been or never-was will automatically bring a Lombardi home to Buffalo.   I suppose some these cretins would even welcome back Dick Jauron.

I totally agree that defense wins championships.  After losing the Super Bowl after the 2020 season and then losing the Conference Championship to Cincinnati in 2021 playoffs, the Chiefs retooled their defense to make it stronger, and the result has been back-to-back Lombardis.   During NE's long run, most of their SB success stemmed from their clutch defensive play.

I think that the Bills had a good enough defense to beat the Chiefs in the playoffs this season.  After losing Milano and White early in the season, they regrouped and played strong defense the rest of the season with LB Terrell Bernard and CB Rasul Douglas being keys to the Bills great winning streak.   Losing Bernard and Douglas in the wild card game probably sealed their fate against KC; they only had 4 LBs dressed for the Chiefs game, and they were forced to play backups to backups in the defensive backfield as well.
