Mcd wants to keep playing he always coaches to extend the game or basically extend his demise. That's what loser coaches do. If Mcd had the balls to tell Brady and his offense that were going for the win and we're in 4 down territory can u imagine the confidence that instills in your team The confidence that instills in your OC to use his entire playbook? But no Mcd wants it his way which is the loser way. There is that. And just what happened from the 8:30- 2:40 to change his mind? Shanahan made a similar brutal mistake by taking the ball first in OT. This ensures,if you score, that Pat Mahomes has 4 Downs on every possession! Is McClapper gambling that Mahomes, a 15-3 QB in the Playoffs and driving at the GOAT is gonna ***** it up? How many times do you need to be whipped by KC in the Playoffs, before you think differently? Even if the D rises from being a total sieve in 2024, I still wouldn’t give Mahomes 30 seconds and 0 TOs! You need to think differently. If you can’t, you’re incompetent to what’s in front of you in real time and need to be cashiered! Josh Allen is not going to wait forever! He wants to win Lombardi! 1 Quote

Shannahan also made a horrible mistake by not sticking with the run after picking up 5yds on first down with under 2 mins to go just needing a FG to win it. He could've easily called a jet sweep to Deebo or just given the ball to his all world running back and told him to win this game for them. Instead he threw a pass in the flat to Kittle and the rest is history. The best plays to run vs those zero blitzes is either a run right up the gut just like Ty Johnson did or a screen play to the Wrs or running bks. The 49ers let the Chiefs off the hook same as the Bills. Quote

When is it going to be time to move on from this coach? I appreciate who he is, and what his MO is, but things are not pointing towards a Super Bowl victory with him at the helm. I could be mistaken, but I believe that McDermott’s biggest (and only?) adjustment to his conservative nature is calling a more aggressive game in the recent playoff loss to the Chiefs. I didn’t see it, but okay. That’s a painfully slow learning curve. At this pace, he may figure out how to actually call a WINNING game on Super Bowl Sunday sometime in the 2040s. How many more super quarterbacks and excellent HCs will come along during that time to put McDermott down every year… It is not happening with McDermott. He ended the drought, he got this franchise to a very consistent winning tier. But there are obvious limitations that he’ll most likely never overcome. It’s very very difficult to win a Super Bowl. A lot of things must align. You can’t have a head coach that is a liability when/if you ever get the chances to bring it all home. Every step of the way with McDermott he is always one or multiple steps behind what it takes to punch through. The longer he is here, the longer we wait (too patiently imo) for the trophy. I don't know when Bills Mafia will quit complaining !! It is very hard to get to a SB let alone win one when the Micheal Jordan & the Phil Jackson of the NFL is the QB & HC of the Chiefs . I heard Browny give that opinion on 1 Bills Live . When Jordan was on the Bulls NO Team beat them the proof is in the pudding, when Jordan left they lost when he came back they won 3 more IN A ROW ! Mahomes is todays equivalent of the MJ of the NFL and it will take nothing less than perfection to beat them . But that being said you can't win it if your not in it !!!!!! All the stars need to align and given this mind set Shannahan should be fired and all the other coaches that did;t win in the play offs . This Bills administration is the best it's been in a long time & despite not making it to the SB yet I'll give it to them because even though Bills Mafia has a really hard time seeing the accomplishments with 4 & 5th string players because their all pro's being injured then the back ups or second stringers being hurt i just don't get it . This last season & some prior season McD has had to do more with less than a lot of other coaches and still gets slammed for it instead of looking at what's right in front of our faces ! Now if the players lose faith in what he's doing and feel they are just spinning their wheels totally different story but that's not the case . I feel it will happen but all those that make it need a little bit of luck along the way along with good coaching & all the rest . It only takes a couple of plays as we saw in this SB and that can change everything ... Quote

What’s yours? apparently, it's to hope and pray, that one of these seasons, the stars will align for the Bills in the post season. Run it back, and cross your fingers. Quote

Coming out of that 2 min warning vs KC knowing they have a couple timeouts and we're at the 26yd line u have to run the ball . Josh Allen was running at will I don't think he had a run the whole game for less then 5yds and Ty Johnson was also running it really well so instead of throwing the ball to the endzone its on Mcd to use that 2 min warning to make sure his OC knows what needs to be done to finish this game. Which is kill clock kill the timeouts and score a TD by doing that we win the game and give the ball bk to Mahomes with around 30/40 seconds left or less with no timeouts. Obviously the next 2 plays Allen goes to the endzone as if he only had 15 secs left in the game. That's situational football and that's something Mcd has proven over and over again that he lacks a feel for. Well yes, that was my second point. If that same scenario comes up again I’m pretty sure the approach will be different because now McD has lived it and dwelled on it. He doesn’t think quick enough on his feet to realize what’s best in situational moments. After the 2:00 min warning it was 4 down territory and they should’ve been bleeding clock. The moment he decided on a FG with 1:54 remaining the game was lost, no matter if Bass hit it or not. If you asked him again today if he'd do anything different that drive, regardless if Bass made or missed the FG, I’m sure he’d have another strategy in mind. Quote
