Allen, the Super Bowl "window," and the KC hurdle

I think Allen will refine his game.  He's 27 now, in his prime but not getting any younger as the saying goes.  He should improve his game from the pocket.  He can shift around a bit, don't stand there like a statue...(Mahomes is awesome at that) but make some accurate passes and screens while hitting guys in stride.  As Josh alluded to himself in a recent interview, once the playoffs come around his crazy running is "break glass in case of emergency".  He won't be able to do that for an entire regular season...he should be more efficient and accurate from the pocket like Mahomes is.

I am rarely confident… noooooo I am afraid of McDermott’s end of game strategies and decision making. These include exactly what to do and exactly what not to do on EVERY play as the finish line approaches. 
 

The latest example, of course, is to tell 17… your only goal at 2:40 and 2 TOs in Mahomes pocket is to make ONE first down! In order, to ensure that Mahomes has virtually zero time and zero time outs to come back. 
 

So, you are taking 3 shots throwing or 17 running into the End Zone from about the 15 or further and less than 30 ticks.

 

Do you think Andy Reid or Billy Boy or choose any star HC… would ***** that up?
