We were looking at nosebleed seats. Like high nosebleed. At the time we looked, it was around $5000. I don't know how much they would have been had the Bills won but it was something we were discussing. My friend even wanted to buy before the game to secure it but I told him I didn't want to do that and see what happens because I didn't want to be stuck in a situation where we couldn't get rid of the tickets if we needed to

Well. I can tell you from my experience, I bought tix before the Chiefs game. Opted for some really good seats 26 rows up in the end zone. They were over 8500/tix and I took a huge loss on them because after the first 3 days the market plummeted. The broker I sold them to informed me that if the Bills were in it, expect to pay at least triple. Buying tix before they are in site in it is the way to go or you will have to take out a 2nd mortgage. The risk is not being able to sell them what you paid for them like my situation. But we were asking too much for the first few days. But being during Covid it was extremely screwed up and many different worst scenarios didn’t help.

I went to the Bills first 3 in Tampa, Minneapolis and Pasadena

Does it count if I was in the parking lot across the street from SB 25?  I just moved down from Buffalo 6 days before as. I was starting a job and grad school at USF.  Across the street from the Old Sombrero was a then Tampa Mall.    They put on the side of Macy’s a huge movie screen.  97 Rock had these Vans that had as loud is the actual stadium, and when we or they scored, you heard to roar of the crowds, we were that close

 

There must have been 250 urinal along the perimeter of the parking lot.  We arrived at 8 am and we’re early so we put up our lawn chairs and four cases of beers for 6 guys.  The only bad news is all five of my friends were Giants fans. I can’t blame them as almost of them were originally from so,e were downstate.  My fraternity brother who failed out of Oswego as he had a little too much fun there.  I basically inherited his friends and they welcomed me with open arms.

 

It was awesome.  None of us had the $ to afford a ticket for the game. Heck I had just graduated from Oswego, and I graduated early as I was taking 18 hours a semester.  We had a blast and was a bit happy if you know what I mean until Wide Right.  That was brutal.  My friends only mildly teased me.  It was worse as they demonstrated pity.

 

Anyway, that’s my closest to a SB attendance.

Went to Atlanta for SB 28 - didnt have tickets initially and stayed with a friend who lived there.  Went to the stadium well before game and couldn't find any tickets- and my friend got screwed by a "broker" and never got his tickets.  Before kickoff we went to a big Bills bar in the area and they were filled you couldn't get in - so all the overflow went to this townie bar next door who from the looks of it wasn't even aware the SB was going on.  Will never forget the optimism at halftime - and then the sickening feeling when Thurman fumbled.  I remember, a few beers in, staring at the pitcher on our table and all the SB disappointments welling up and fighting the overwhelming urge to throw it against the wall.  Still amazed I didn't chuck that damn pitcher.

Had to scalp tickets to get in. We had booked the trip and tickets through Small World Travel and they couldn’t get the tickets for the game.  This was a day before we departed so we decided to go down and try to get tickets once down there.  The person from Small World escorting the group disappeared the first day and we all had to figure out how to manage the trip.  When we got back, we filed a class action suit and won, but the agency went belly up before we got all our money. 
 

Even got interviewed on CNN getting off the plane in Buffalo. Overall an unforgettable experience. 

 

Yep i found that getting screwed usually is a unforgettable experience .

Went to Pasadena and Atlanta. Spoiler alert….we lost. But it was a great experience both times regardless. I have to say that I much preferred the atmosphere of being outside in the sun of Pasadena over being inside the dark dome in Atlanta. Seeing all the planes, helicopters, and blimps circling over the Rose Bowl as we drove to the game gave you the feeling that you were truly at the center of the universe for that moment in history.

Pasadena Super Bowl.

 

Kind of a blur now, but I remember Tasker blocking the punt and the Bills scoring a touchdown first. We went nuts!

 

I don't remember a lot after that, as I was so happy about the blocked punt and early score, the prospect of a victory on attempt #3.  But I am pretty sure the Bills ended up winning the game after that great start.

 

Looking forward to going to New Orleans next year to see yet another Bills' Super Bowl victory.

My brother and I, as long time season ticket holders, were picked in the lottery for the Super Bowl in Minnesota. Yes, it was cold, but the memories were invaluable, especially being with my brother. Saw many top sports celebrities walking about the city, attended the Super Bowl Experience and had a great time. Our seats were in the end zone in front of some of the box seats/high end lounges.  As it turned out Mohammed Ali was in that lounge and stepped out by our seats during the game. Pretty memorable. Go Bills!!🏈🍻

I remember back in the day when STM's had to go to the stadium to pick up the tickets they got from the lottery, and scalpers were outside the doors with stacks of $100 bills offering to buy them, competing with fans who didn't win the lottery.

Same here , but we were INSIDE  that crowded Bills bar.  It was a great time, until Thurman fumbled and the entire bar 'knew' it was over.

My friend in Atlanta scored one ticket on Saturday, but alas it was in the middle of a large bunch of Cowboy's fans.  He said they were obnoxious.

On Friday night we went searching for tickets and a scalper had two for $1100,,,EACH.  No thanks

I was in New Orleans for the Patriots first win a few months after Sept 11.  Security was heroic, had concrete blockades all around the Superdome, Humvees patrolling all around, military all over with semi automatic rifles.  Took 2 hours to check in.

 

I cant believe it but I bet the Pats and was ecstatic when they pulled it off.  Little did I imagine what I would soon think of the Pats.

Sat directly behind Norwoods parents at tampa XXV with my wife and brother. Wife was 6 mos preggo with our son and I always tell him that hes been to a Bills SB.

We were at the 10 yard line where Bills started final drive mixed in with players families, wives, friends etc. I got the tix through a Bills middle exec who was a friend.

The Bills came on the field to attempt the kick and the whole stadium was standing except for Norwoods mother....... She was sitting and reading her bible.

She never looked up at the kick or the results.

He boomed the ball and from our viewpoint we all thought he made the kick. Our section was hugging and kissing, then we saw the Giants celebrating. Reality sucks.

Norwoods father leaned over and said something to his Mom and she nodded but kept reading the bible. My wife was crying for her and the letdown of Wide Right.
