mannc Posted February 7 Posted February 7 As a HS senior, Curry was the top recruit in the country in both basketball and football, so there’s that… 2 1 1 Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 @GunnerBill where do you see a fit for him on our staff and how does this impact areas of game planning responsibility with Brady if at all? 1 Quote

They were fun to watch play basketball, especially Peppers, he was an animal in the paint. 1 1 Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I am starting to feel really old now. I remember watching Ronald Curry play basketball in high school. He the McDonald's High School Player of the Year. Played both basketball and football....he was an unreal athlete. 7 3 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Michael Thomas had his best seasons under him I think? How old is Thomas and is he a UFA? 2 Quote
Buffalo03 Posted February 7 Posted February 7 So, we get a head start on our next OC in case Brady leaves for a HC job after next season 1 2 1 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I like this. I did not think he was available. He was a hot commodity a couple of years ago, but I guess time without Brees has faded the star a bit. Quote
colin Posted February 7 Posted February 7 brady was passing game coord at LSU, right? if he's worked well in that kind of a structure, then it's likely a good thing to replicate what he is comfortable with on our team. im not really sure why, but i feel like allen working closely with different people will make him better. he's the goat in terms of talent, but he's not had the highest level of guys to learn from and work with, so exposure to more should be fruitful. eball Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Loved watching Curry at UNC. Never met the ridiculously high expectations he had coming in but was a solid contributor to both the basketball and football programs. Won't hurt my feelings to see a fellow Tar Heel on the Bills staff -- and he brings a tremendous amount of experience. Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I mean I would love a breakdown of how his schemes have worked. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted February 7 Posted February 7 That looks like our new QB Coach/ OC in waiting. Seems to be successful. Can't wait for the "Fire Brady make Curry OC" posts after preseason game 2. 2 4 Quote

If McDermott were to walk away next year The bills would have their pick of whatever coach they wanted. all the more reason to make sure the organization, the roster and the staff are fully behind him and he is given enough tools to do his job. 3 7 Quote

K D Posted February 7 Posted February 7 I remember this guy being an absolute beast coming out of high school. To be good enough to play basketball at North Carolina when that was basically the best program in the country plus play football there as the starting QB is nuts. I just hope he is not buddy buddy with Josh and can hold him accountable 1 Quote
