To specifically answer your question about the pay cut, no I don't at all think that this tweet is a result of Beane asking him to take a pay cut. I am not seeing the connection between the tweet and thinking it likely indicates Beane asked him to take a pay cut. It doesn't mean Diggs wants to leave Buffalo Fair if you think that is drama, but I honestly can't get there on that stuff. None of that at all seems to indicate discontent with the Bills or him trying to force his way out. He just stated publicly this off season that he wants to retire a bill, not be traded, and hopes to be here this year. Plus why doesn't his post of say just a red heart get the same assumption its football related as the other posts? Couldn't that mean he loves where he is at? No one comments on that because they can't twist that to mean drama and he wants out. You see, he isn't getting fair treatment...people cherry pick the vague tweets (which he has always posted) that can be twisted and made to look like drama to keep the story going for clicks or to confirm a bias. He know it puts the Bills, his GM, his QB all over the sports shows in combative fashion. He doesn’t need to do it. He chooses to do it. He’s paid how much to be a leader on this team? Part of being a team leader is having some self control not doing random stuff that puts your organization and teammate in awkward spot. Some of y’all.. even our own sports media guys.. treat Diggs like a child. The man is in his 30’s out here tweeting like a 17 year old high school recruit every offseason. 2 1 2 1

zow2 Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 I kind of think Diggs is gone. The cap hit is accounting and they will find a way to trade. This is not the way McDermott operates. He stuck with it last year and made it work because he had to. But with Diggs falling off in the 2nd half of the season and the awful fail vs KC it makes getting rid of the headache easier to do. You have Josh Allen, and he will distribute the ball to anyone and everyone. 1 1
