DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I'll guess 5 years 280 mil. The next guy that signs always gets the highest AAV The Fish will structure the contract for lower guarantees and have outs though. It'll be interesting to see if Allen re-negotiates before his contract is up. His AAV is 43mm and if he was signing a contract today it would be close to 60mm. Thankfully he seems to care more about winning a championship than maximizing personal earnings. Quote

From a team standpoint they should offer him Daniel Jones money and hope he bites. They should continue to look for a replacement like they have almost every offseason who can compete against Allen in December and January. I’d be pissed as a fan to watch my team settle for a small, immobile, injury prone QB who folds like a lawn chair in big games. Quote

I like where your head is at with that comment. Pay him as much as possible. He can eat up their cap and they are stuck with their current roster. Until they start beating playoff teams, they are paper tigers. Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 You're all missing the underlying scheme of it here. Thanks to getting his coconut binged a couple years back, Tua's ripe for signing for the veteran minimum, as long as there's an annual 'Samoan Selebration Day' at Hard Rock, and he's featured in the next Ace Ventura movie. * That Ross is a sneaky bastage. 🤔🤨 Quote
