USMCBillsFan Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Romero strikes again. This one looks good. I hope Romero does it right. I love zombie movies....
SF Bills Fan Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I'll be there. Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorites. The original, not the remake (though the remake wasn't bad). Shaun of the Dead was a good one too, check that out.
USMCBillsFan Posted June 13, 2005 Author Posted June 13, 2005 I liked the Dawn of the Dead remake. I love the originals too. Haven't watched Shaun of the Dead. Looked a little cheesy. I'll check it out though.

It hasn't got a lot of press and comes out during a very busy time for big movies. Then again, the hardcore fans will find it and probably won't be distracted by movies like Jolie/Pitt one.

CW

The reviews have all been very good too. the lead actor is a good one, you might remember him from American Psycho.
SF Bills Fan Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Maybe this time they'll get Batman right. 357360 The original Tim Burton movie wasn't bad. They went downhill from there. I didnt' even bother to see the last.
sweet baboo Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I havn't seen the Jolie/Pitt movie, but the previews didn't look too bad actually... CW 357326 actually, i thought the previews look like Spy Kids or some other really crappy production but the reviews are glowing...this movie is either really good, or hollywood reviewers have completely lost their minds
gantrules Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Zombie movies rock!!! I thought both Dawn of the Dead and 28 Days Later(not true zombies but same idea) were great. I'll be going to the drive in to see this one.
Zona Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I'll see it. You gotta love Zombie movies. Although, I did not like 28 days later. Shaun of the Dead was good, as was the remake of Dawn. I still think the original Night of the Living dead was the best. That movie just creeps me out big time...

BillsGuyInMalta Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Damn spiffy, Romero's new one looks really good to me. In fact, just last night I decided to re-watch the previous movies in the series (Night, Dawn and Day) in order to get myself pumped for Land of the Dead.
EC-Bills Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I havn't seen the Jolie/Pitt movie, but the previews didn't look too bad actually... CW 357326 My wife and I saw it this last weekend. We liked it. Lots of laughs.
EC-Bills Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 Maybe this time they'll get Batman right. 357360 From what I have seen of the previews, I think they have a pretty good shot at it.
Alaska Darin Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 The original Tim Burton movie wasn't bad. They went downhill from there. I didnt' even bother to see the last. 357441 I agree with that. Wasn't bad.

I'll check it out though. 357263 Dawn of the Dead remake was pretty good...I liked the part when Ving Rhames' character is picking off celebrity look-alike zombies from the mall roof. Jay Leno, Burt Reynolds, Rosie O'Donnell...
Dante Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I havn't seen the Jolie/Pitt movie, but the previews didn't look too bad actually... CW 357326 It sucked. I fell asleep in the middle of it. I give it 1 1/2 stars and one of the stars is just for Jolie just being so friggen hot. Movies is the same old **** though.
