AD Mitchell + McConkey or Franklin

Love this but How does Beane make this happen? I see these players as all gone in the top 12-15 picks of the second round.

Either trade down a few spots then trade up from 60 too or just take AD at 33 then move way up from 60

PFN has the picks updated and it also populates the 1st Round as it transpired. Just ran this one. I picked Franklin because that's who I believe we are going to pick, then selected the rest based off of my own preferences.

Explanations:

Round 2a). I know that we've been joking about DeJean and picking CB in general, but we lost TWO of our STAR safeties and we need to attempt to replace at least one.  DeJean is a bon afide first round talent (but arguably safety, not corner in the NFL).  I'm saying that he's a GREAT fit as a Bill but not at corner.  We would need him to replace Micah Hyde and compete to start at FS.  Our current secondary will NOT fare well against some of these stacked offenses coming up and I'm not just talking about KC....  Look at what the Jaguars are doing for example....  I'm NOT happy with our secondary in the middle right now and DeJean might be as good as a guy like Eric Weddle (pro bowl safety; retired).  Why not Adonai Mitchell?  Well.... I just think that he's not all that much better than Jermaine Burton out of Alabama and I got him and Brenden Rice at 97 and 114 respectively.

Round 2b).  I traded up for the Powerhouse in the middle.  We need sustained drives, better push for short yardage, and this allows McGovern to stay at OG where I think he is better on this team, while our anchor POWERS-JOHNSON would be a fixture for a decade.  Why not WR?  I have Powers-Johnson higher than the WR targets at this spot.  Polk and Mitchell came off the board after my 2a pick.

95:  Nabbed a DL anchor at great value (still no WR sorry.  being patient, and Sweat was a steal here)

114/221:  Burton / Rice come right in and compete.  We could have a steal here.  BOTH players would have gone much higher if not for the HYPER FOCUS on the top 5 wideouts in this draft....

221:  Nabbed BPA at a position of need.  We need OG depth still.
