BuffaloBillyG Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Thought he would end up with Washington. But one of the hottest names for HC is staying out. 4 1 3 2 Quote
QB Bills Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) Thank jeebus. He obviously wants to work with Josh Allen. That's our 2025 coach right there after mcdoormat blows another playoff game next season. 🤞 Edited January 30 by QB Bills 3 1 1 5 5 2 2 2 Quote
TheyCallMeAndy Posted January 30 Posted January 30 There is a world where Bills could have multiple top 5 OCs to choose from next year if they don’t bring a trophy home and part ways with McD. Quote
Warcodered Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Waiting for the right shot maybe wouldn't be a bad decision. 1 3 Quote
HappyDays Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Huge news for next offseason. I wonder if he decided he wants to wait for an opportunity with an established QB? 6 Quote
zow2 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Lot's of NFL media heads were wrong about this one. Good for Detroit. Guarantees nothing but certainly better than having to find a new OC. Quote
julian Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Yeah if the Bills job was available he’d be in Buffalo, most head coaches are never blessed with a young HOF QB… those jobs aren’t turned down. 2 2 Quote
MrEpsYtown Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Probably smart, though I thought that Washington job was a pretty good one. 1 Quote
Process Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Man I would have been so happy to have this guy as HC instead of just running it back with the same staff. He's clearly being very picky because Washington seems like a decent spot with the #2 pick and new ownership. Buffalo would probably be a dream job for him. Quote
Doc Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I'd have seriously considered the Commanders. They have the 2nd overall pick, $83M in cap room and new ownership. 2 2 Quote
Cheektowaga Chad Posted January 30 Posted January 30 He will be hired in Kansas City after they win the Superbowl and Reid retires 1 1 Quote
McBean Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Him, BB, and Vrabel are still on the board. Tell mclap Super Bowl next year or you’re fired immediately after the last game when the zeroes hit the clock. 2 1 Quote

boco357 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 So weird. Washington I think is a decent gig (one of top QBs in draft/new ownership), much better than Seattle. Stuff happens you can't guarantee what jobs will be available. Quote

dma0034 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Three of the top 4 coaching candidates don't have a hc job right now: Johnson, Belichick, Vrabel. Could be a big season for McDermott. 1 Quote
