When my wife started her internships she got into malpractice law, but she actually ended up in housing and property law. I used the law library a couple times when I took a property law course for my masters, and yeah I thought it was a bizarre layout. My wife usually studied on one of the top floors in O’Brien which was off limits to anyone without a swipe card (coincidentally a great place to make out too, but I digress…) Yup, the 7th floor has a special area for law students that is only accessible with a swipe card. I do most of my studying there too. And I agree that it is a very strange layout. That's also hilarious because I thought the exact same thing about the upper floors lmao. Thank you for wishing me luck. Again, the aim is to be a patent prosecutor, but my #2 choice would be real property and wills, trusts, and estates. That's generally my strongest area (at least according to my grades). I really don't want to be a litigator at all; a courtroom just isn't for me. On the other hand, I could see myself become a local town justice in my later years. Best of luck to you and your wife as well buddy. Mens sana in copore sano!
Gregg Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Trump won't have to beat Biden. Biden's declining health will defeat Biden. I doubt the Dems will want to "Weekend at Bernie's" the drooling vegetable thru a 2nd term. Not that Biden will live through a 2nd term anyway.

The power should be in the hands of the people. We should never fear our government, our government should fear us! You think power should be in the hands of the people yet you don't vote. Can you explain that please? Never mind. I see you answered it above. Edited February 2 by reddogblitz

These idiots told us the same thing leading uo to the last election. No one knows when their time is up on this planet. Death does not discriminate.

I think he steps down and the Dems will have another nominee for the election.

I wouldn’t choose to put any money on either ones longevity but Biden is at least an in shape senile while Trump is an obese senile and eats McDonalds every day - he is a heart attack and/or stroke away from serious trouble. Coupled w the mounting law suits and potential money going out only adds to his blood pressure. It’s truly unfortunate that it has come down to these two. 1 2

I'm pretty jaded by the whole thing if these dummies around here vote Dem no matter what. Feels like my vote doesn't count. At some point it could come down to Dem vs Socialist and then I'll vote for the Dem but hopefully we don't get to that point as a country but you never know.

Your vote always counts, especially at the local level. I believe it's the most important thing we can do as Americans is exercise that right at all times. Hell, I'd vote for the damn garbage man if it came to it. 1
Joe Ferguson forever Posted February 2 Posted February 2 So I looked up Taylor's net worth - $1.1 billion. She doesn't need Travis Kelce's fame or wealth. At this point, she's looking for happiness imo. So maybe they're actually close or in love. And maybe she's progressive in her politics and isn't ashamed to be forward about her views. Or....It's a big conspiracy. The NFL rigged games so the couple du jour is front and center. And they paid Taylor huge dollars to endorse Biden. C'mon. This is worse than pizza gate which was horrible. 1

Where I live the Republican always wins local and Democrat wins the big stuff. I agree everyone should vote. I just don't feel like I missed out on much by not. I'll continue to follow along and see if and when my input is needed however 1

Grover Cleveland’s “Good Citizenship” is a pleasant read if you have an afternoon. 2

What makes it worse is that no one wants Kammy as President. 1
