We can rag on the guy til the cows some home but the SF OLine is dragging that entire offense into the gutter right now.

And Purdy is unable to compensate.

That’s the downside of a physically limited QB, very little ability to overcome poor OL play.

The ability to erase poor play up front should be a priority when drafting and starting a QB.

Is Goff the MVP of the Lions offense?

Not sure but that's besides the point.

Purdy can't be league MVP when he's not even the most important player on his own offense

No, he's never going to be that guy.

But if the people around him execute, he's good enough to win with.

Well… looks like QB’s matter. All you hear is Lynch and Shanny are gurus .. they wiffed on the one time they will have a shot at a top 2 qb. Shanny showed me going for style points as ATL OC vs Pats cost them. Not sold he is a championship coach.

I swear to gawd, you put me in that guys body and I'll have 20 sacks.

Young is the classic "should have been more" guy like Clowney

So much for the idea of elite defense in todays game. You can’t rely on defense.

edit: with the exception of plays like Bosa’s sack.

Agreed. He's a serviceable QB, little more than that.

The run D is pathetic.

3rd and 12 and you hand off and get the 1st with ease.

The Niners are done here, folks.

Their best hope is the Lions getting pass happy and Bosa becoming a factor.

Wonder if reason San Fran is getting gashed in run game is their commitment to playing Nickel with only Warner and Greenlaw at LB?

Why are the Lions attempting to pass? Run the ball. They can't stop it.

That first down decision to pass could become a huge play in the game with the sack for loss.
