GunnerBill Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Interesting. He won't call plays, it won't be his scheme. He will have a role in game plan but he is there as basically an extra pair of eyes and ears for the Quarterback and Head Coach - as a guy who has played the position in the NFL. When you think about it in that context it makes some sense. 5 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Interesting. It seems like a perfect pairing: a slightly above average QB who pretended to be elite by running up garbage stats with an OC who rode an elite QB who was putting out stats. I expect the entire run game to be shotgun QB draws Quote
RunTheBall Posted January 28 Posted January 28 He wasn’t getting anything else so he was smart to grab on to the OC title when he’s going to be a passing game coordinator. 2 Quote

Augie Posted January 28 Posted January 28 An unlimited tablet budget was a minor sticking point, but hey, it’s not their first stupid contract. 🤷♂️ 4 Quote

Browns are talented. Better than Brady huh. What metrics say that? Wins, no, run game, no, Josh passing and running for TDs, no, 1st half scoring,no, less predictable play calling, hell no, getting Shakir and Kincaid involved in the offense, also no. Are you saying there’s an intangible aspect to him being better? Mindless statement. 3 Quote

It was a very dumbed down offense. Passing concepts were JV level. The biggest plus was his commitment to the run, but IMO that was a negative because we have Josh Allen. In terms of metrics or analytics Dorsey’s offense was better in that regard also. 1 1 Quote
BananaB Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Stefanski is still the mastermind behind that O. It might be a good thing for Dorsey Quote
