As @GunnerBill pointed out in a previous post, there's a long skew of teams between the 3rd coming off and when we're picking that are covered at WR and have much bigger needs. For us as fans, a lot of this stuff we're seeing is new. But teams go into this with a pretty good idea of where guys are at. Most people knew Mitchell would run pretty well. The 4.35 timed speed is great. But it's not going to move him up the board THAT much. I see it moving him from that early 2nd Round - fringe 1st Round, middle of the 2nd tier of WR discussion, to securing probably the 5th WR off the board, at best. And as others have said, his field testing hasn't been great. We haven't seen Brian Thomas run yet and there's a chance he's just as fast and will probably look better in testing. KingBoots8 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 I’m interested in seeing group 2 before making my declarations but here’s a quick preview for group 1: 1. AD Mitchell looked really good today and has likely found himself a spot at the back end of the 1st round. (It also helps that, for some weird reason, I like the Longhorns and may have a bias) 2. Franklin did fine today but I had higher expectations to be honest. I have a late 1st-early 2nd grade on him and that still remains. I was hoping he’d take the leap but I didn't see enough to change my grade. 3. Leggette ran and caught pretty well, and the guy is fast for sure. I was lower on him than most but I think I can see what others saw. Still like him in the 2nd. 4. Coleman had a bad 40, but a great gauntlet. 40 yard speed doesn’t always equal game speed. I had a 2nd round grade on him before and that remains the case now. He also measured far closer to his college reports than most players so that’s something too I guess. Quote

Daniel Jeremiah has him at 33 overall... His tape is fantastic at times, especially in big games... He can be silky-smooth...He has shown effortless movement skills on the field... He ran good routes... Not sure what you're looking for. He's a College kid. They all have faults. He's an elite athlete at WR who has had huge games vs some of the best College Defenses and comes with a limitless upside. He would be a home run at 28 because he has legit WR1 upside...
