MrEpsYtown Posted January 26 Posted January 26 After the McDermott presser it is clear he isn’t going to give up play calling. I suppose you can still promote Babich to DC, but he won’t be calling plays. Quote

He also had Poyer and Hyde in their prime when they were fully healthy and available. Then inherited Milano and Tremain Edmunds in their prime. So is he one of our best coaches, or luckiest? Tremaine Edmunds never had a "prime". he displayed a statistical regression every year since his rookie season. Quote

JoeF Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) Can we encourage him to show up drunk/high for the Packers and Giants interviews. Then to start the interview with the Dolphins by stating "I believe that Coach's who wear t-shirts that goad the opposing team - like "I wish it were colder" are freaking idiots.... Seriously, Coach Babich deserves an opportunity to advance. Edited January 26 by JoeF Quote
HomeskillitMoorman Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I wouldn’t blame him for leaving. McD is a sinking ship. 1 Quote
london_bills Posted January 26 Posted January 26 He'll be offered the DC job here I'm sure but probably with less play calling room than other places? Will show what he thinks of McDermott Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Helped turn Poyer, Hyde, Milano and now Bernard into studs. Someone will take him from us. Quote

Scott7975 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I didn't realize he had 3 interviews wow. Good for him if he gets a job, but big loss for us if he does IMO. 2 Quote

DJB Posted January 26 Posted January 26 This is a testament to the development of Bernard and some of the other guys 2 Quote
msw2112 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 The Bills should promote this guy to DC in title and pay. McD can still be involved and/or mentor him. Seems like a rising star in the coaching ranks and the Bills should find a way to retain him, particularly while McD could stand to put more focus into his role as head coach. 3 7 Quote

Daboll may be gone if the Giants flounder again. Miami...always a gamble with that ownership too. LaFluer seems to have some stable footing after making the playoffs. Quote
