Goin Breakdown Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Because he is being graded for when he's on the field. McD only puts him on the field in situations that Dodson excels in. That's my guess. 3 Quote
HomeskillitMoorman Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Tough break for Von that they cut the list off at 5. I'm sure he was next. 8 Quote
julian Posted January 23 Posted January 23 The bigger story is KC having 4 of the top six defenders and Allen still put up 3 TDs and offensive #s the Chiefs haven’t surrendered all season. 6 1 Quote

Pete Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Dodson, Taron, Poyer, and Roos were only D that played well against the Chefs. Dodson made several nice plays Quote

A week or two ago Sam Monson actually spoke about Dodson on the PFF podcast. He was brought up to illustrate that a player’s grade is based on how well they execute on the things they are asked to do. As such a player like Dodson can have a very high score, but not be that impactful of a player due to the limits of their assignments. 1 Quote

WIDE LEFT Posted January 23 Posted January 23 PFF isn’t perfect, but they do extensive film work in breaking down individual performances. And use people with a modicum of experience & expertise in player evaluation. But here we have the typical fan; watches the game ONCE on tv, pounding beers, but somehow knows more Quote
