/dev/null
Picard could have cared less if Riker died. Then he could have had the counseler. 357052 now see i disagree with that. Picard did care if those under his command died, which is another reason why he was a much better captain. just ask all the guys in red shirts what they think of Kirk. oh wait, they're dead

Tux of Borg
ah, but the question was better captain of the Enterprise Picard vs Sisko is a close one 357193 It took Picard two episodes to beat the borg. It took Sisko an entire season to beat the Jem'Hadar and Dominion. It took Kirk 3 seasons and a ton of movies to get the Klingons to sign the Khitomer Accord. NCDAWG
Kirk rules...he didn't need a "second". Picard is for the P.C., wimpy , metrosexual , and watered down poor exucuses of "trek fan" today.
Chilly
Why would Shatner dream about playing a role of a guy who gets no tail? 356818 Doooood, Professor Xavier was workin with some hot chicks.

Crap Throwing Monkey
The Curious George Box Set doesn't count 357454 Methinks you're getting a mite confused. We're talking about James Kirk, not President Bush...
FTW_BillsFan
ah, but the question was better captain of the Enterprise Picard vs Sisko is a close one 357193 Well I though the original question was Kirk vs. Picard. Because the best captain was Capt. Jonathan Archer. He was the true innovator as capt of the enterprise. Now, if we are opening up to all the captains anyone going to pony up for the whiny Janeway? Campy
We're talking about Captain James T. Effing Kirk, for God's sake. The man could handle klingons, green chicks, goofy sound effects, shaking cameras, and polyester-clad, overacting crew members all at the same time without breaking a sweat. 356725 And Tribbles. Don't forget the Tribbles.
VABills
And Tribbles. Don't forget the Tribbles. 357859 Another reason Kirk was gay. He let furry little creatures that purr on his ship. Pichard would never allow that.

Pichard would never allow that. 357869 if Picard can stop a Borg colony on the Enterprise, you know damn well he isn't gonna stand for no furry little critters Kirk on the other hand would just blow up the ship. How many Enterprises did he go thru anyway? He went thru ships almost as fast as guys in red shirts
