Charles Romes Posted January 22 Posted January 22 His error rate is just too high for when defenses force us to dunk and dunk down the field. Quote
Warcodered Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Maybe he'll find his way into a system that'll use him in a way that works for him, even when he sort of did things right here lately he'd either not be where Josh wanted him or drop it. At least way too often. 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Hopefully someone offers him more than the Bills are willing to pay. Quote
Billever76 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Gabe isn't worth the money he will get....we have to draft a wr or two in the first round and another in like the 3rd or 4th this draft....safety is another major area of concern Quote

GETTOTHE50 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Knox and cook already drop passes on the reg, looks like diggs is starting to too. No more room for another. Quote
CapeBreton Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Last offseason, MVS got 10M a year from the Chiefs, and Allen Lazard got 11M from Jets. Gotta think Gabe gets something similar to that, if not slightly more. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Thank you for your service. Nice player. Nothing bad to say. Hope you get a nice pay day and play for several more years. Let someone else pay you. Get the comp pick 1 Quote

He doesn't seem to study the game and just tries to get by on "winging it". IF he ever decides to buckle down and train his head as much as his body, he will make some team a hell of a player one day. I doubt he will find the motivation playing for the Bills. From everything that's ever been said about him is nobody works harder at his craft so I don't know where you get that from. He's just physically limited when it comes to separating in the short to intermediate areas of the field. We need to upgrade and it's pry going to have to happen in the draft. Quote
FilthyBeast Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Good riddance but knowing the Bills luck he'll probably sign a team friendly deal with another contender next year (i.e. the Chiefs) and have a career year. I will say this though, unlike a lot of guys on this team he at least showed up in the postseason. So that would be the only real reason for the Bills to consider keeping him but still think he's long gone regardless. Quote

I was really happy with Sherfield as a depth signing this year. But he killed me yesterday. Shakir looks like a great #3. He came on as the season progressed. pigpen65 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I liked him before he started doing the alligator arms BS. To me that's the unforgivable sin for receivers. 1 Quote
Warcodered Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Considering the year he's had I'd say Free Agency is going to test Gabe. 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Bills probably can't nor should they pay him. Replace him with a rookie WR @28. Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Does anyone know the formula on who we'd need to lose and how much they'd need to get in FA to get another compensatory pick? Quote
Bruffalo Posted January 22 Posted January 22 3 hours ago, Einstein said: A little under 40% of Allen's INT's over the past two seasons have come when targeting Gabe. Now consider THIS: Gabe has missed 4 games as a Bill. In those 4 games Gabe missed, Allen was 67% for 1020 passing yards, 11 passing TD's, 0 Interceptions and 3 rushing TD's. This should be in no way a surprise to anyone paying attention. I've been saying it all season. If you want Allen to "protect the ball" then all you need to do is take Davis out of the lineup. Davis should have never been allowed to run option routes, because he was routinely on the wrong page with Allen. Someone cynical might blame Allen for that, but Davis needed to be doing what Allen wanted, not the other way around. 1 1 Quote
