dma0034 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I just don't like the going for 2 down 8. I get why teams do it but I don't like it 1 4 Quote

UKBillFan Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Don't get the reasoning behind going for two points there. 3 Quote
TheFunPolice Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I get the math and all but going for 2 there is just as likely to put your own team under pressure 1 Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I’ll never get the new fad of going for 2 points when down 2 TDs. Just kick the extra point and be down 7. Now you HAVE to get the 2 point next time. Quote
BRH Posted January 21 Posted January 21 I agree with Collinsworth. Evans needed to fight back through for the ball. 2 Quote

Bob Jones Posted January 21 Posted January 21 That's defensive PI all day long. Refs are in the tank for the sappy Lions story. Quote

Gary Marangi Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Let the NFC games be close and the AFC two blowouts by the home teams Quote
loveorhatembillsfan4life Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Take the 7 and go for the win on the next score if you want? Now the pressure just to tie.. Quote

Plus, ya know, he made contact too before the ball got there. Quote

So the thought process is this: You are playing to win the game. So in that case you need 15 points. If you score and kick the XP then it comes down to the 2pter. If you go for the 2pter on the first try and miss it you still get one more chance to tie it. Quote
