I felt like the minute Christian Harris went out with an injury the game changed.  He went back in but wasn’t the same and it snowballed.

I just got back from dinner out with the wife. I see the score. Was it as lopsided as it appears?

Houston did a nice job hanging in there til halftime but as soon as the 3rd qrtr started, Baltimore went full big brother on them.

Was always the worry with a team out-punching their weight.

They caught another team, doing the same, last week.

This week, on the road, in the cold.. it showed that they weren’t ready.

Reminded me a bit of us vs KC in the AFCCG a few years ago where we somehow got there, but didn’t yet belong… and after getting up early, it showed.

I think the Browns would have given the Ravens all they could handle.

As a hedge a few weeks ago I booked a flight to Baltimore for next Sunday. Getting to the stadium is a breeze because the light rail runs there from BWI. Let's handle business tomorrow.

It was never close today. Houston's offense scored 3 points.

More than it appears. It was a total beatdown.

They had a better shot than it seemed, but they didn't capitalize on it. In the first half they were moving the ball if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot and actually got points then maybe they leave the half with a lead of one or 2 scores. That happens and it could have been a very different game, not sure how well the Ravens chase a lead.

Maybe I'm a hater, but I didn't find the Ravens that impressive. Their defense was very good, and the offense wasn't very explosive, but played mistake-free football (which was made easier by never feeling pressure by the other offense scoring points). If a team can put up some points on them early (Bills or Chiefs will IMO), then the offense will be forced to push the ball downfield more and I think they will be exposed.

Their offense started to feel pressure once and started to make mistakes and then the Texans missed the field goal and it went to halftime.

Had to shake off the three week rust first half, but finished nicely. Fans helped a lot with good noise.

Hope Buffalo takes care of business tomorrow. Bills@Ravens AFCCG, should be a heck of a good one.

If Flacco had continued his streak of high level QB play for at least one more week.

ESPN headline on NFL page:

"Lamar Jackson dazzles with 4-TD performance as Ravens advance to AFC Championship"

I mean, I guess

Call me paranoid, but I'm concerned that narrative might lead to BS calls if we are beating them next week.

Put a spy on Jackson.  I guess it's harder than it sounds.

Agree. When the Texans were able to score some points and dial up some pressures, BAL looked suspiciously like their previous failed playoff squads. Especially LamarJackson, who seemed moments away from a game changing mistake for most of the 2nd quarter.

According to Baltimore fans on their message board, they are going to destroy the Bills or Chiefs by at least 2 TDs, there is a whole thread on it

I googled "baltimore ravens message board" and there were several. which is their main   board I wonder.

The Bills always have a good blueprint for defending Jackson- it’s more than just a “spy”. It’s a total team D effort.

Great. Let ‘em think that.

Um, reading some of these comments...you would think the Ravens are the Panthers.  This is the best team in the NFL this year and it's not close. Completely dominant on both sides of the ball and a QB that is going to win the MVP. If we win the war tomorrow we get to face them. Can we beat them? Of course, buts it likely going to take by far our best game of the year and maybe still some good fortune.

McD has shut Jackson down every time he’s played him. TJ Pick 6 anyone? 21 point comeback?
