Rapp is a very underrated injury, especially with Benford out.  May need to use Neal again for that big nickel.

Agreed, I would’ve liked to see Rapp blast the Meathead. I don’t think Neal has it in him to do that.

I'm talking out of my butt here (never had a calf injury), but I'm still in a state of shock that him intercepting that ball against Miami has him out for two weeks now.

Having guys bust their ankles and have a 50/50 chance of playing is not luck.

Luck is having a fully healthy team at all times. Like the chiefs do. Every. Single. Year.

I think we’re splitting hairs here, but having a fully healthy team in January isn’t luck, that’s called virtually unheard of.

If you don’t think it’s luck to be carted off in an air boot and then play 6 days later then we’ll just agree to disagree.

Chiefs really don't though. They just overcome adversity really well.

A couple years ago they had 3/5ths of their offensive line out in the playoffs/SB.

Last year they had Patrick Mahomes get a high-ankle sprain (typically a month long injury) right before the AFCCG.

That was one game three years ago.... The chiefs worst injury since then resulted in a guy missing zero games. Exactly my point.

Gabe Davis is a big one because he’s money against the Chiefs. Shakir better bring his A game along w/ Kincaid

He was money when they had boundary CB issues.   Gabe Davis ain't sh!t against a good CB.    The strength of KC's defense NOW is the two boundary CB's.

We were playing 4D chess.

McD told him - “hey we got this locked up - go down, we’ll get the cart, put a towel over your head the whole deal and we’ll make Andy think he’s scheming against AJ Klein.”

Taron is the most important followed by Douglas. Hopefully they let Taron play.

Bernard has played well but we need a guy that is fully healthy and can run to man the middle. I say live and die with Williams at MLB and either Klein or Dodson at the other LB spot..  He can play middle and spy Mahomes from time to time.

If they win this game Williams should play spy on Jackson the entire game next week.

Agree about the strength of their defense.

Josh needs to dump it down all day, scramble, and maybe hit a play action pass from time to time.

This is the week to NOT force the ball to Diggs. We probably have a better shot of winning if Diggs gets 2 targets instead of 10. Nothing against Diggs but this is the week he is best used as a decoy and open things up for Knox, Kincaid, and Cook underneath.

Nothing I have seen from the chiefs this season makes me think we need to score 30...even with the injuries.

Chiefs just put up 26 at home against the dolphins practice squad defense.

I would not be surprised at all if they don't score 20 points.

Finally !!!

they have no one outside of Tyree….wait

they have Kelce

rice is a rookie and Douglas and Jackson have him

the other two are absolute morons

I can't tell if you're joking or not.

Last year their LT was out for the AFCCG. Their #2 WR Mecole Hardman came off IR right before the playoffs. Their #3 WR Toney was out for the AFCCG. Their #1 CB L’Jarius Sneed was questionable with a calf injury and then went out with a concussion in the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes had a high ankle sprain, which is often a month long injury, even though get toughed it out.

That's a good amount of injuries. The whole talk last year was if the Chiefs could overcome all that adversity.

It's our chance now to overcome it. And I think we can.

Douglas being back is huge if Benford is out...Jackson is a reliable if average player...Elam could be the wildcard. If he can continue his trend of playing well in big games, it could be huge for us.

If Diggs is hobbled, I bet Brady trys to kill em with alot of cook screens and check downs. Gotta pull their defense away from our limited receivers, if Diggs is limited

Was there a report on that?

looked like the play he was hurt it was the wind got knocked out of him -  looked like he got hit with a fist low when they were swinging at the ball on that play
