Buffalo716 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Spend 18 minutes of your day to listen to Dion Dawkins talk When a lot of people were putting him down in the offseason... This man is a true professional.. a humble human being.. wise... A great person... And a tremendous football player He always gets better as the year goes on which is the Hallmark of a true professional player... Tons start hot and end soft Dion always plays his best late in the year And the way he speaks and his outlook on life is tremendous which I put to Sean McDermott in drafting him He truly is an amazing person and I'm thankful he is a Buffalo Bill Go Bills Edited January 19 by Buffalo716 20 4 11 3 Quote

But if you look at the 2017 Draft - the way in which it was handled, the type of players selected, and how quickly Whaley was let go after the Draft - it's pretty clear it was at most, just Whaley's board with McDermott selecting the guys he wanted. 1 1 14 Quote

Whaley may have been handling the phone calls but it's very clear McDermott was running the Draft. Pretty sure McDermott only came here if Whaley was on his way out. 2 Quote
ProcessTruster Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Agreed, However, if the Bills lose Sunday, most of the crazies on this board will be calling for McD's head within 10 minutes. the vitriol will be sprewing everywhere. write it down. 3 1 8 1 Quote
BlazinBill Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I just read on here the other day Dion was good and all but then instantly someone stated something about how back mid season he was a little hard on the "fans" because he stated some things regarding fan relationships. He did and he wasn't wrong- when the Bills win they can do no wrong - as soon as something bad happens the wagon gets pretty empty and mud slinging occurs- Loyalty - what's that? Greatest fans no doubt but definitely a lot appear to be just around for the good times. Go Bills! BILLIEVE 1 2 Quote

BILLIEVE Were fans jumping off the wagon… or were fans concerned the team was about to run that wagon they were on full of unfulfilled potential over a cliff? They obviously turned it around, but not before they got right up to the edge of disaster. Edited January 19 by transient 1 Quote

Well we all have differing perspectives- I take no issue with that- some may have expressed concerns and some may of come unglued and just spiral when in a slump and just rag and bash on everything - all approaches are accepted by me. I just feel differently about how to approach and at the same time realize all perspectives are uniquely tied to the individuals experience. Simply follow along what people post in game in the moment With that said if you can really tell me the majority posters were concerned I don't know if I agree is all- Quote

Unfortunately yes. I know I was at that point midseason. Now...now I look back at a defensive coach who had his top assistant walk away after it was too late to backfill. Who had an OC who was next man up and never developed the feel for situation playcalling that he had in 2020 and 2021. No matter how it ends, I want to see a year with whoever they run with as OC given a full offseason to install. I want the D to get an assistant at get healthy after a truly impressive spate of injuries. And then if we fall short again, then we have that talk. 3 Quote

Maybe that'd be justified, ya know, for losing (in the playoffs) to the Chiefs 3 of the last 4 years and getting absolutely embarrassed by the Bengals last year? How many years do they rinse & repeat before they give somebody else a shot with a generational talent? 1 2 Quote

K D Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Did Shnowman just take a shot at Britney (Josh's Ex)? They asked about Josh and he said "I don't know what's different but when he leaves his house and comes to work he's happy. Whatever it is, whether it's talking to his parents or talking to his girl, whatever it is, he's different now." 1 Quote
PBF81 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) They is no reason why we should lose this game, none! KC is both weak contrasted with prior seasons and overrated. We are at home. They're 0-1 against playoff teams on the road, having lost to GB 27-19. We can cross that bridge once we get there, but one single Divisional round win in 6 seasons when you have Josh Allen definitely invites questioning at the absolute minimum. Having pointed that out, GO BILLS!!! Edited January 19 by PBF81 Quote

shane nelson Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Met Dion at a party before the Indy 500, what a class act. Just Great. After my complements he said "Its an honor to meet you, I want your picture". At the season opener i sat beside his dad during warmups, pure class!! Apple tree -> Apple 6 1 1 Quote

And KC has gotten better the last two games. This isn't the easy game it looked to be before the Steelers game. 1 2 Quote
