It's a satire account but their point is still valid.

it's only valid as satire (with the PGA as the butt of the joke)

a ton of people likely either streamed the Miami-KC game illegally or just said “F it” and didn’t watch at all.

And the 23 million people who did generated more money for the NFL that some of the other games that had higher numbers which is the point.

"But the strong opposition to the game didn't show itself in the results because NBC made history.

Peacock averaged 23 million viewers for the Chiefs-Dolphins rout, which NBC announced on-air during the Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions primetime game on Sunday. This number includes viewership from the local markets of the two teams which had the game on linear channels.

The 23 million average viewerships makes it the most-streamed live event in US history, and it's even up 6% versus last year's comparable match-up between the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The viewership number significantly beat Amazon Prime Video's most-watched game from the regular season, which was a Seattle Seahawks versus Dallas Cowboys match-up that saw 15.26 million viewers. Of course, the NFL playoff bump should be noted here: The average playoff viewership across all broadcasters last season was 28.4 million, versus 16.7 million during the regular season."
