Einstein Posted January 17 Posted January 17 (edited) Touchbacks incoming. Or maybe we just won’t punt. That would be nice. Edited January 17 by Einstein 2 Quote
Brand J Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Kudos to all who called the move. At least Bass is familiar with him. 1 Quote

Touchbacks are not great, but even worse would be getting a Matt Haack Special off the side of his foot for 15 yards while backed up in our end. 1 Quote

Logic Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I think the hierarchy of effectiveness is something like: Sam Martin The ghost of Tom Tupa Josh Allen arm-punting Matt Haack Sam Martin on one hamstring. So technically, this is an improvement. I would've called Tupa's ghost, personally. (p.s. the Bills weren't going to insert Matt "one preseason punt and no experience holding in real games" Araiza into a playoff game at a time their kicker is slumping a bit. Wasn't gonna happen. Move on) 1 Quote
peterpan Posted January 17 Posted January 17 When was the last time this guy punted in he league?? Quote
H2o Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Should have just let Josh punt too. He does everything else. 1 Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Where is KC going to find a left footed punter for their returners to practice catching on? This is a gigantic advantage and could be the key FA signing of Beane's era. Quote

Move on) the arm punt is always interesting that shows the IQ of a player. i never understand why so many times a defender catches those passes as an int. the best thing to do is catch it and drop it all in the same move if you can't 100% knock it down. 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted January 17 Posted January 17 There is now a run on tickets By Monday they will be gone.... Quote
Heavy Kevi Posted January 17 Posted January 17 I know he's got "holding chemistry" with bass, but haack is not good and neither has bass been this year. So maybe he will make bass a better kicker this playoffs? It's not like there's a FA out there with a nickname like "punt god" or anything, so we'll just take what we can get 1 Quote
