Einstein Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Bass is now 78% for the year (5th worst in NFL) and we haven’t let him attempt a field goal over 50 yards in 3 months. He also just missed a 20-some yard field goal. Can we trust him to make a game winning Playoff/Super Bowl kick at this point? 5 1 4 Quote
Fetou Posted January 16 Posted January 16 (edited) Can't imagine there's a whole lot out there? Genuinely have no idea but you can always do worse Definitely don't think he is here next year though Edited January 16 by Fetou 1 1 Quote

K D Posted January 16 Posted January 16 He's not good. I watch other games and the team gets to the 40 and they are kicking the FG. We get to the 40 and punt 1 Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Yes. Not sure how mcdermott has any confidence in him Quote
947 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 He's gotta be nursing an injury. Doesn't look like the same guy. 3 Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted January 16 Posted January 16 It's been obvious for a while that there's a lack of trust. Quote
TheBrownBear Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Obviously, yes!!! WTH happened to the kid? He used to have a strong reliable leg. Now he looks completely washed up. And he's only 26. 1 Quote

Not sure how mcdermott has any confidence in him Sometimes I feel like they get too focused situationally on strategy to get the 3 points once the possibility arises. Didn't get that sense at all tonight other than the 3rd and long before the make. It's mostly a negative but it is one slight consolation prize that they may be more aggressive without a trustworthy kicker. Quote
Brit Posted January 16 Posted January 16 The short miss was because his non-kicking foot slipped when he planted it. Why it was so horrible. 2 2 Quote
