Wizard Posted January 14 Posted January 14 First, let's rip apart the Steel Curtain on Monday. Then, let's cook the Chefs. 🙂  For those that know the intricacies and nuisances of schemes and attacking a team's weakness, what is the template for the Chiefs?  I don't like them having two extra days of recovery and two more days of Coach Reid game planning.  We are the better team, but until they're knocked out, they are the Champs.  For me, the two biggest factors:  1. 1 turnover or less 2. Control the Clock    2 Quote
GoBills! Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Mahomes didn’t look good in the red zone when it was man to man with pressure. I was shocked how many fields goals they had to settle for.  Also the whole team drops passes worse than anyone one of our guys even Knox. 2 1 Quote
Locomark Posted January 14 Posted January 14 1) play with a lead 2) spy Mahomes a lot 3) don’t blitz every pass play and play cover 1 or 0 like the Miami stooges do 4) beat them in special teams— it seems like they always find 1 or 2 big plays out of their special teams in the playoffs 1 Quote
SCBills Posted January 14 Posted January 14 It’s not that deep .. we’re better than them.  Go out there and prove it.  1) Allen, limit the nonsense  2) McDermott, show us why you took over the defense 3 2 4 Quote
dma0034 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Score 21 points. Sounds simple but every team that has scored 21 has beaten the Chiefs this year. Cheifs are 2-6 in games where the opponent has scored 20 points. 0-4 in games where teams have scored 21 on them 2 1 1 1 Quote

Special K Posted January 14 Posted January 14 A healthy Rasul Douglas is a key component to victory, IMO. 2 1 Quote

Richard Noggin Posted January 14 Posted January 14 The Bills offense's ability to operate against KC's tight man coverage and various pressure looks is so essential. If the Bills can avoid early offensive struggles, they can control this contest.  Of course, defensively stopping the Pacheco and Edwards-Helaire combo and keeping eyes AND HANDS on Kelce is important, but I believe Josh and Co. have a chance to outpace an inconsistent Chiefs offense and alter the calculus of this matchup. Quote

I think it's pretty close. 1 hour ago, GoBills! said: Mahomes didn’t look good in the red zone when it was man to man with pressure. It was really never in doubt after half time.  Their defense is really good.  On offense they have an emerging WR and Kelce still is dangerous but seems to have lost a little. Pacheco runs hard.  Yes the Chiefs definitely struggled in the red zone.  If the Bills and Chiefs meet up next week it's gonna be a dog fight. Slight edge to the Bills due to being at home. He just kills the blitz. 1 Quote

Seriously, no joking here.  QB - Even  RBs - Even  WRs - Buffalo  TEs - KC  Oline - KC  Dline - Even  Secondary - KC  Special teams - Even  Coaching - KC 1 1 Quote
ChrisWatson#21 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I love it! We get to end Kermit's season, after that MVP-2 and hopefully give Boomer the Bills-San Fran Super Bowl he always wished for. Also Josh gets to beat his favorite team growing up as icing on that cake. Quote
