Damn Chiefs now have 2 extra days to rest and prepare for us as they play today

Preparation won’t be an issue. These teams know each other.

It’s only one more day of rest than they would have had if we do play. The Bills will most likely still be getting 6 days of rest and had a late bye. That shouldn’t be an issue.

No bitching if we lose.  Yes this will make it easier for Allen to sling it more accurately and the full play book can be used. But it also opens up Rudolph to Pickens/Johnson which has been money recently.

It's not two extra days, it's one extra day.  they already had a day head start.

Whatever. I'm gonna laugh when it's not that bad tomorrow. And now all we're gonna hear about is how the governor bailed us out.

NFL is king. No way they would just let a governor make that decision on their own without collaborating.

If Miami was Buffalo's opponent, for damn sure they would have found a way to get the game in as scheduled.

The heard the chatter about Pittsburgh possibly being successful against them with their running game in the snow.

Wow that’s incredible how deeply we are in their heads that they think the Bills, of all teams, are getting preferential treatment!

It's better than a loss due to the weather tomorrow.

As long as they win the next two games won't matter at all, if they don't I'm sure people will complain about it.

The game had to be moved.  There was a real risk that thousands of people could get stuck in blizzard conditions trying to get to the game or leave it afterwards. It had the potential to be a public safety nightmare.  I'm sorry that some people have to work on Monday or are upset that the Bills could lose a day of rest should they advance, but I don't see how there was any other choice but to move it.

oh and should be safer for fans, if that’s your thing.

This !   The last thing the NFL would want is fans dying due to frostbite and hypothermia.

I love how Dolphins fans think we’d want bad weather to stop Tua’s passing attack. We’ve done just fine on perfect days.

This is bad.  We will be playing a team next week (assuming we win) that played on Saturday.  They will have a 2 day rest and prep advantage over us.

The Bills have been prepping for possible opponents the moment the playoff field was known.  Probably before then.

Bills will come out and win this week and come out flat and lose against the Cleveland Elf’s. The team will blame it on their circumstances like last year

That scenario is ridiculous considering we'd be playing them in the Conference Championship so we'd have already gotten through both games that could possibly be effected by this change.

EDIT: I am wrong we can't play the Dolphins.

Others are mad but i’m elated! If the weather will be any better, I think that favors us.

Not elated, as I LOVE Sunday at 1, but you are correct.

And the chiefs will have an extra day of rest if we play them again. It’s just comical. These guys approved of a new outdoor stadium in Buffalo New York and then postpone games when weather hits. Just put a damn roof on it then. I understand the game would be a mess, but it just seems ridiculous.   And they’re ok with playing the game in kc at -30 wind chill with fans there?? Yeah ok

This has zero to do with the weather inside the stadium.  It is all about the weather outside.  A dome would do nothing to change this situation.

That is one of the first things I thought of....

if it had to be done, it had to be done. But that is going to be a huge competitive disadvantage for the winner.

The team that the Bills (or Steelers) will play next week will have 1.5-2 days more to prepare, to rest..etc.

It's more about rest since they won't really be able to prepare not knowing who they're gonna play

i actually don’t think they care about the fans once they are in the stadium (see: KC at negative a billion degrees). It’s more the driving to the game being dangerous.
