Virgil Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I'm so glad I didn't try to drive up for this game. Imagine the hotel insanity. I just really hope they don't schedule the winner to play next Saturday. 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Happy with the move for safety reasons. Was NOT looking forward to driving. Wish it was at 1:00, gotta work the next day. Good news for our offense though to have the ability to play our type of game and not a grind it out, anything can happen game. Quote

But that is going to be a huge competitive disadvantage for the winner. The team that the Bills (or Steelers) will play next week will have 1.5-2 days more to prepare, to rest..etc. It’s a normal NFL week. It’s not a big deal. Get off the constant worrying people. ShakAttack Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Wild card weekend is the only playoff round with Monday games, correct? I.e. no chance that divisional round between winner of Chiefs-dolphins and Bills-steelers would be played on Monday? 1 Quote

Yes, until next week when whoever we play (if we win) gets 2 extra days of rest heading into the game. From a competition standpoint we're getting the short end of the stick should we beat Pittsburgh. Quote

They still have to wait to see who wins and figure out who they have to prepare for. It kind of works both ways in my opinion. Quote

stevewin Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I would think this should also increase Bills fan attendance and how full the stadium will be 1 1 1 Quote
Process Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Also means we are definitely playing next Sunday (hopefully) which is better than Saturday. Right now bad weather and cold is supposed to linger through next week so the later in the week the better. Quote

Hate it from a watching point of view. Have to imagine they lose quite a bit of viewership, not everyone has Monday off. Quote
