They are literally losing their ish on Twitter.

Ironic because they couldn’t handle a couple snowballs but supposedly a foot of snow is no big deal 😂

this is like complaining a dolphins game was moved for a mild hurricane if the shoe was on the other foot haha they just sound ridiculous

Its a wash IMO.  Playing in the kind of weather coming takes way more toll on the body and there would have been a lot more fatigue.

Plus whomever the Bills would play has to travel to Buffalo.  Bills players can just roll out of bed and go to the stadium, and not worry if they packed enough underwear for the weekend.

Yeah and I recognize I'm in the minority opinion on this one. But recently the only reason the Steelers offense has done anything is because they could launch the ball downfield to Pickens. People have already forgotten that the Steelers were arguably the worst offense in football until that element became part of their game. In windy snowy conditions I thought we would easily shut them down, meanwhile our own passing offense would be handicapped somewhat but not completely shut down. I thought all in all it gave us a big advantage, contrary to popular opinion.

So from my perspective we've now lost an advantage over our wildcard opponent and gained a disadvantage over our divisional opponent.

We shouldn’t have to worry about an equal playing conditions environment.

If we need a mother nature advantage to be a team like Pittsburgh, we aren’t very good.

There were a few in the beginning of the thread that actually understand what's going on, but now the cretins are taking over.

I grew up in the southtowns so I get it.  I've also lived through hurricanes in NC and I understand those.  People who haven't lived through one of these weather events usually don't get it.  So it goes..

But think of it this way. It gives us a better chance to advance to the next playoff game, by allowing us to run our normal offense.

People don't understand the extra fatigue that players would have had playing in that stuff.  It takes a huge toll trying to run around in all that snow and stuff.  It's not like the fields would be cleared all game.

Government workers, schools, and bankers get it off.  Most people don't.

My wife doesn't like it when I tell her I have a real job and don't get MLK day off like she does.

Others are mad but i’m elated! If the weather will be any better, I think that favors us.

Absolutely:

1. Sunday weather would have been too much of an equalizer. Monday weather much better. Colder but light winds.

2. Extra 27 hours might help TDod and Rasul.

3. Steelers screwed on travel-either they’re already here (for two nights in the Adam’s Mark) or they have to travel Monday AM. Nobody is landing at KBUF tomorrow.

Back in the day 15 20 inches was the norm and it stuck around all year till spring… Now days we get a few flakes in the air and everybody wants to shut everything down… bunch of p*****

If you preferred the Bills play in a snowy windstorm, after watching that ridiculous Mac Jones 3 pass game, in a situation  where again the biggest mismatch is your offense compared to the opponent’s offense, with the entire season on the line, you are an idiot full stop.  An extra day of rest is nice, but it’s not a bye week and the opponent is the one who has to deal with travel while the Bills rest up in their homes.

That is the first thing I thought about when I saw the weather reports, The Pats game. Don't want a repeat of that. Stay safe up there.

Not sure I buy this.

There is a competitive edge that appears when the rest differential is at least 3 days. The Bills will be at a two day deficit. So there is that.

The Sabres game will be held. It just started snowing and the game is at 4 PM. Vancouver is in town.Polencarz put a driving ban starting at 9 PM tonight.

Pittsburgh  is probably scheduled to land around now  and it is  about a 1 hour flight or less. They'll have to sit around in the hotel for a day.

We never did lol this is all ridiculous…in a hurricane, active volcano, snowstorm, plague of locusts, etc we are better suited to have a good game than pit

I do agree with op that pit has been getting it done through the air and bad weather would’ve hurt them more but it shouldn’t matter

Well the people back in the day are now middle-aged or older and run the show. They are the ones making these decisions. So….
