I agree and especially because he’s had a few weeks off.

A front 4 of Rousseau, Linval, DaQuan and Oliver could be really tough to run against

Unfortunately, this staff seems to have a ton of faith in Settle  so I don’t expect it

I like how you are thinking, I would add Lawson. Go 5 man front.

Make Settle inactive, Poona has been trending upwards so keep him in the rotation but if there was ever a game where you need to big time run stuffers its this one. I like Settle he is a nice rotational DT but he is more of a penetrator than a run stuffer in my opinion.

Agree when they were bringing Ford in that was one of the things they talked about was his low center of gravity with him being a shorter fella he was very hard to get under him so he usually won on taking on the oppositions line  .  My vote is for Ford & Joseph this week sit Settle .

I'm pretty sure you will see all 5 DTs active maybe even taking Taylor Rapp's spot.  There is no doubt that they are going to try to run up the middle.  If we stop that the game hopefully will be over fast.

Settle has done nothing to be sat.  He hasn't been solid if nothing other than being boring.

That's probably conservative. They might run 90%+.

Mac Jones threw 3x in weather like this.  It's not like Rudolph is that much better.

Our defense is night and day compared to that game where they just embarrassed us

Von will be useless in this game.   Joseph for Von is a no Brainer

For real. Von hadn't been productive anyway.... But in 50 mph gusts, Von might just get blown over

After I saw him limping last week, a year after surgery, it blew my mind

We need our DT’s to hold the line. Poona and Settle are just ok. We cannot have Poona, settle and epenesa in at the same time against a run first offense.

was he hurt last week? or just pass happy matchup strategy? i dont remember hearing anything on inj report but noticed he was missed last week. hugeeeeee signing

Off topic - but Poona was the player who shielded/blocked the punter on the Harty return.    It was a nice effort play.

My guess is it’s a rotation between Jones and Joseph.  They can shut Najee down.

They need BOTH on obvious run downs.

Was also the player who went upfield , got turned around and let Achane thru his gap on the TD run
