However, the line is -10 and moving up. I am concerned less about the snow, than the wind. There could be a goofy Turnover resulting in a TD. It will be low scoring. Possible, that the final score could be between 7 & 10. * The Bills will finally slay all their imaginary dragons by beating the not so good as before Chiefs by 10. Line will be Bills -3.5. * The Bills will beat the Cleveland Browns at home by 6in the AFCCG. This will be a back and forth thriller, requiring some Unicorn runs and wild TD Passes. * The Bills will win their first Lombardi, beating the 49ers by a FG, a high scoring shootout. I dig all of this with one exception. It'd be swell to beat Dallas in the Superbowl. Quote

When you say the line is moving up, does that mean The Bills are being favored by even more points, or less? It means that people believe the Bills will win by even more and therefore it is going up! Sometimes, this gives a false reading of the relative superiority of one team more than the other. The Bills have become a very hot gambling commodity in addition to the fact that there is keen interest in everything they touch. Ticket prices are a significant example this year. They have become outrageously and exorbitantly priced due to their popularity. Wind is a terrible leveller of superior talent- however. That needs watching before I make my final wager on this game. Have already bet the Bills to win the SB. 1 Quote

I hope it's right, and that we can get our run game going. Quote

I think it could go this way. Steelers, then Chiefs, while the Browns D stops the Ravens. Browns at Bills in an epic AFCC in Buffalo. 1 Quote

On a side note, I hope everyone in the path of this crazy winter storm makes it through OK......had to dodge a few tornadoes down here in Florida.......stay safe to all Bills fans in its path! Go Bills!! Edited January 10 by Special K 1 Quote

I’m not sure the entire NFL fan base and chatter heads has caught up. josh 4th down: Snow plow 1 yd run for 4 yds INT 50 yd “punt” Some QBs and times past would never do this. They’d just PUNT. Our Unicorn. Thankfully coach understands and isn’t full of Malarky-punt Thnx. Just like the defer! Even before the rule... The concept of the extra possession "double dip" was lost on almost everyone. Quote

If Vegas is increasing the line, they are attempting to even out the money by getting more of it to come in on Pittsburgh. It has everything to do with the money and nothing to do with "people believing the Bills will win by even more." 1 2 Quote

Rich Stadium Original Posted January 10 Posted January 10 There is little doubt that the Steelers will try to run the ball, then run even more, and keep running until the Bills can stop them, especially with the weather forecast. Plus it shortens the game and helps to keep the score close They will probably come out in a two tight end set, and sometimes three. I wonder if McDermott will stick to his lighter LB/DB base defense, or if he'll add the extra linebacker to stop the run. Rudolph does chuck it occasionally, but I dont think of Pittsburgh as a throwing threat, particularly if it's windy and snowy. 2 1 Quote

PBF81 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 FWIW, the Steelers are 5-1 when they rush for more than 150 yards. We are 0-3 when we allow more than 150. It's beyond likely that it comes down to that given the weather. The problem for us is that our defense is not built to stop the run. We rank 28th in yards-per-attempt allowed. Quote

When we want to stop the run we can. I'm sure Joseph will be up this week to go along with Jones, Oliver, Groot, and Shaq. I'm sure the plan will be to make Rudolph beat them. Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted January 10 Posted January 10 I don't get good vibes about this game regarding the forcast. Hopefully the weather is good enough to be able to run most of your offense and have good footing. If it is a wind game or sloppy footing game that is a big advantage for the Steelers. Right not it looks like it will be windy but not bad enough to make it like that dumb Pats game. If this reduces to just about the trenches and bounces and mistakes that is a big equalizer. 1 Quote

There are a ton of tickets available on Ticketmaster. Steelers fans will ***** them right up. Everyone’s acting like it can’t happen here. It has happened here a lot. Eagles, Bengals and Steelers fans usually buy a lot of seats. Every Bills home game I’ve been to vs those teams had a lot of their fans. Quote
