Think about where the Bills were at the end of the Denver game.  5-5 with a bunch of embarrassing, almost inexplicable losses (Jets, Jags, Pats, Broncos), a fired OC, and injuries (Milano, Tre, DQ) that seemed poised to emasculate our defense.  Then the Ty Dunne hit piece on McD, plus people like Timmy Graham intent on manufacturing Diggs drama for clicks.

The road ahead looked like this:  games against Philly, Kansas City, Dallas, and Miami (three of them on the road), plus the Jets and Pats again, plus a west coast trip to play the Chargers on a short week.  And they had to go at least 6-1 against that stretch to get to 11 wins or we were going home at the end of the season.

And they did it, and they were a ridiculous 59-yard FG in the rain away from going 7-0 over that stretch.

In this league?  That's ***** incredible, people.  I never want to hear from the "fire McD" or "trade Josh" people again.

Agree especially the fire McD people they can all go P**S up a rope !! But even though they are all jumping on the Bills wagon as it goes by them to the play offs & home field but they will still find something to complain about because they are never happy especially if the Bills lose then McD is a POS HC ...

GO BILLS !!!!

I’m sure I’m in the minority but a couple of those felt pretty explicable to me lol. That defensive depth chart we had available mid jags game through NE(and especially NE because no Ed Oliver in that one either) was one of the worst units that took the field for any team this year talent wise.  Even the bad defenses have 1 or two big time disrupters on the defensive side and we just had no one

if Douglas was acclimated in the defense and on the roster right when tre white went down I think we win 13 games and maybe 14.  Still an inexplicable loss to NYJ though 😂

Well, my prediction turned out to be a 6-1 heater with an overtime loss on the road at Philly the only blemish, but I’ll take it.

Did anyone notice/hear Diggs and Josh telling each other “four more” as they hugged following the game last night? I was impressed that they demonstrated that mind set….and they did it with hands clasped over their mouths as if they didn’t want anyone outside the inner circle to know that’s the way they’re thinking.

They did this during the 13 second year also. But this climb up was much more difficult because we had Eagles, Cowboys, Chiefs, and Dolphins left on the schedule. I buried them. Predicted 7-10 when they were 6-6.

"This year is nothing like 2021. The schedule is much harder this year. No way they win out and make the playoffs this time."

So with Dorsey we were 5-5 and without him 6-1 (with more injuries and facing Miami, KC, Philly and Dallas). Even though it hasn’t always looked pretty with Brady I’d say firing Dorsey was the right thing to do.

No shame in that, I did as well. We were playing awful and Dorsey didn’t look like the answer, we were starting to see injuries, JA was completely out of sorts & the schedule remaining was pretty difficult.  As an objective fan I saw it the same way. It looked daunting.

One of many factors in the amazing run is by being in playoff mode, it freed Josh to run more (which seems very natural to him and fires him up). Much harder to defend us when he can run on any down and in any situation.
