Maybe you should step outside and suck in some of those nice hot Santa Ana winds and get over yourself. You might want to look through all 18 pages of this thread. I'm seeing quite a few people beyond trembling in their boots and a couple that I think might have filled them already. Quote

There is a distinction between that and legitimate concern. My guess is you know the difference. Apply it here. You’re just misinterpreting in my opinion. 1 Quote

Probably what's being unsaid here is that a lot of us are trying to figure out if we'd be able to make our 90 minute or 2 hour drives into Orchard Park safely and in time to make the game. So it's a mix of how would the game experience be and can I even make it to the stadium. Quote
SectionC3 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 There’s the idea. Folks at OBD read this page. The forecast is nuts and, if those winds and that snow come to pass, it’s a public safety issue. So there’s the plan. CBS gets a holiday game on Monday, we get some reasonable weather, nobody’s at risk of dying in a snowbank, and there we go. 1 4 2 1 Quote
RiotAct Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I’d be okay with this, it’s MLK Day and I have off Wish I would’ve waited another day or two before purchasing my ticket, though Quote

TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted January 12 Posted January 12 It's too late to move the game to another city . If the weather is so bad that driving bans are put into place, then I think the only option is to in fact move it to Monday, hopefully in Western New York. 1 Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I'm planning on going - more annoyed about getting out in traffic than anything else since i live in the north towns. 2 Quote
Negan Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I'm going, and have off on Monday so good either way. What's the weather on Monday lol Quote

Those forecasts are meaningless. This is a localized event and they don't have the ability to forecast those. 1 Quote

I don’t care about sitting in the stadium. I’ll be there, and I don’t mind the snow or the cold, and I’ll have a great time no matter the weather. I’m just telling everyone - the idea of trying to park all of these people, and then get them out of there, in a blizzard is insane. Particularly after 47 people died in a similar storm in 2022. And good luck getting out of there. 2 Quote
section122 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I thought it could have been done last week when they announced the matchups. They could have swapped KC and Buffalo games which would have avoided both weather issues. At this time though, it is too late. If they declare a SOE then we will see what happens but I don't know that will happen with a small band of lake effect. Quote

And who is going to fish them out of the snow? Beyond that, does any Bills fan really want this game played in blizzard? I sure don’t. So use public safety as the excuse to move it to Monday, we’ll smoke the Steelers in reasonable weather, and be at the Stadium again next Sunday. 2 Quote
