Yeah you probably should have let it go because that’s factually incorrect. (a) to (e) are not the only relevant sections. There is a reason why an entire extra paragraph exists below it. It exists to add further information about situations where a player may (or even MUST) be reported that fall outside of of (a) to (e). Your justification of “weasel words” is simply your interpretation, but the letter of the law is there - in black and white. If we are going to play the weasel words defense, teams could attempt to weasel their way out of even (a) to (e). Considering we are talking about Diggs this entire time - a key player of the Bills - i’m not sure why even debate. Edited January 3 by Einstein Quote

So one of the follow-ups to Kyle's tweet says "potentially helps explain having his worst passing day of the year" , to which Trimble responds "Considering it was early in the day, that would help reinforce that idea". Except that Q by Q here were Allen's stats 1Q: 2 for 11 for 5 yards 2Q: 5 for 9 for 41 yards, 1 INT 3Q: 3 for 4 for 84 yards 4Q: 5 for 6 for 36 So since this happened late in the 1st, Allen was having a bad day passing before it happened, and was able to "get it together" the rest of the game This gives me hope that the finger injury is not too serious -- 🤞 2 1 Quote

I recall seeing that happen a bunch also throughout the game. Everyone I'm sure noticed it when he got the stinger and he was pinching them a bunch. That was his right hand he was doing it on, not his left when you would think would be the hand he would be doing that with since the stinger was on his left. 1 Quote

People say things like "Where did Josh go?" when he looks terrible for a couple of games. And then they say "OH, he's back. We found him again!" when he plays lights out. No, Josh was here the whole time. It's who he is. You never know what you're going to get exactly. We are going to have trouble winning a Super Bowl with him, b/c without No.1 seeding, we are going to need FOUR GAMES IN A ROW agains the cream of the league...and asking Josh to play with that level of consistency is a tall order. All true. Injury speculation is part of the excuse shield. Still have to give Allen credit for his durability either way. Though it's frustrating the Bills are in the fortunate minority of having their starting QB available all year and yet still seem discombobulated this late. Quote
