PromoTheRobot Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2081405 Actually it would be great if the NBA skipped a year. It would give hockey all the attention while they try to re-establish the NHL with fans. PTR
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I am hoping the NHL never comes back.
Sen. John Blutarsky Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Wow, can anyone imagine the run of felonies there will be if we have the whole NBA locked out with millions of dollars to spend and nothing to do without even the pretense of drug testing?
Beerball Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2081405 Actually it would be great if the NBA skipped a year. It would give hockey all the attention while they try to re-establish the NHL with fans. PTR 355182 That would give the NHL a quick boost. They are probably praying for this to happen.
Ramius Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Wow, can anyone imagine the run of felonies there will be if we have the whole NBA locked out with millions of dollars to spend and nothing to do without even the pretense of drug testing? 355185 funny, but sadly, true...expect an increase in crime rate...
crackur Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I am hoping the NHL never comes back. 355184 haha wouldnt bother me either..............too boring if not seen live
Ramius Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I am hoping the NHL never comes back. 355184 haha wouldnt bother me either..............too boring if not seen live 355203 Someone told me that the NBA stood for "National Basketball Association", but last time i saw an NBA game, basketball was nowhere to be found...all i saw was a pointless game of dunks, attempted dunks, and 3 point bricks...and dont even get me started on the rules of the game, because you cant determine they from watching a game, because the rules are different for every player...
Puhonix Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Pisses me off that what counts for a foul for Ben Wallace, doesnt count for Dwayne Wade, or what gets Shaq to the line doesnt for someone else. NBA needs major rule clarification.
duey Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2081405 Actually it would be great if the NBA skipped a year. Ramius Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 If i want to watch basketball, i'll wait until the NCAA season starts...now those are some real basketball games... The NBA is similar to life...the more high-profile you are, the more you are allowed to get away with...if OJ played basketball, hed be allowed to take 6 steps and hack people all day without having a foul called...
Puhonix Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 If i want to watch basketball, i'll wait until the NCAA season starts...now those are some real basketball games... 355229 Heck, I might even watch the .... the .... WNBA There I said it! But not for a whole game, and only while Im deciding what else might be on.
/dev/null Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 this is one of those philosophical dilemmas, like if a tree fell in the woods.... if the NBA was locked out, would i care?
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 Heck, I might even watch the .... the .... WNBA There I said it! But not for a whole game, and only while Im deciding what else might be on. 355231 I'll watch the WNBA when they change the uniforms to string bikinis and start signing Victoria's Secret models...

Alaska Darin Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 I'll watch the WNBA when they change the uniforms to string bikinis and start signing Victoria's Secret models... 355265 Obviously you didn't see the flag football PPV. Brutal.
CoachChuckDickerson Posted June 10, 2005 Posted June 10, 2005 In 6 months, when the 2 of you break up and you move out, let us know so we can tell you we told you so.
