Georgia Bill Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Kind of weird that it will be us and Miami playing the last regular season game for the whole NFL. It will be the only thing left to decide and the spotlight will be bright. Who will stand tall and who will wilt? I'm looking forward to it! 3 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Does this primetime Sunday game mean that the 2 seed will play next next Sunday, and not on Saturday? Anyone know? Quote

Like….thats obviously a massive advantage lol 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Happy that the Steelers and Jags games (the two deciding wild card potential) are viewable before our game in different time slots. Gives me something to look forward to Saturday and Sunday afternoon without feeling like I have to have it. Sunday night will be either no pressure, just play loose and get the dub we’re in either way, or full send gotta get this done sugar rush. Glad we’ll know ahead of time. 1 1 1 Quote

dma0034 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 I think this is it for the Dolphins window. If they don't win this game they won't win the Superbowl with Tua and McDaniels. Their salary cap is worse than the Bills and they still have to pay Tua and Waddle. They went all in on this season and failing to win the division would be devastating for them. So Bills gonna beat them by 10 2 Quote

Will tell me how much I need to drink on Sunday lol…. Quote

I don't want them to look at those injuries and think it's in the bag. plus, nothing is official yet. okay i agree chubb is probably out but every other player mentioned could play. there's no reason to believe at this point that miami will be any more banged up than the average nfl team at this stage of the season. or that they'll be more banged up than the bills. 1 Quote

That was a really bizarre game…we were inches on a few deep shots from Josh goin off for 600+ yards and absolutely destroying them.. down a few pass rushers and possibly a corner i don’t think they can roll with that same gameplan again Quote

Like it was for the bills early in the season,it’s the players that are injured on the defensive side for them, not the total amount of injuries. They like to get after the passer and play a lot of man and Howard not at 100% and down Chubb and jaelan Phillips really hurts Quote

Does the playing at night in Prime time in your opinion an advantage or disadvantage to the Bills. I mean I know they need to prepare the same regardless. I guess Im curious as to if you think it adds good or bad pressure to the team playing in Prime time in such a crucial game as this at least it won't be 100 degrees and 100% humidity @-@ It sucks for Miami. They are horrible on SNF and primetime. 1 Quote

I think pro athletes go out and try their best pretty much regardless of surrounding circumstances. "Trap games" and the like are fictions. 1 Quote
stuvian Posted January 1 Posted January 1 At the end of the day, the Dolphins have nothing to play for this week but pride. We need this game to get in. I think they rest their banged up starters against us. 1 Quote

I would say that is a lot to play for plus potentially knocking hated Bills and Josh Allen out of the playoffs. 6 Quote

For the Bills we will know just how big before kickoff. For us it may or may not be do or die, while for the Dolphins they are in either way. Regardless of that aspect, for either the difference between a lower seed and the #2 seed is big and both will be playing with desire to win. 1 minute ago, stuvian said: so the most the Dolphins can hope for is the division title and a sole home game on wild card weekend, correct? If the Dolphins win they get the 2 seed, which means a home game on wild card weekend and if they win that, a home game on divisional weekend but if I'm coach Pinky and the Brain, I care more about going into the playoffs with my starters healthy than I do about a home game on wildcard weekend. If I can get Mostert, Chubb and Tua back on two weeks rest, I care more about that than getting a home game on wildcard weekend. 1 Quote
