McDermott said before our earlier meeting that what they're doing on offense is almost revolutionary. I don't think he said that lightly. Yes, a lot of Miami's success is having top talent at WR and RB, but don't overlook the fact that they're using that talent effectively. We always talk about McDaniel, but Frank Smith made his way onto a list of top OC from the NFLPA. So maybe Frank Smith is the genius. I think that if Ken Dorsey had Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle the last two years he wouldn't have been fired and if McDaniel had Diggs and Gabe Davis the Dolphins would be limping to get a playoff spot. It's like how Bill Belicheck got called a genius...and he was. I don't think Tom Brady wins as many Super Bowls together without that pairing. And it's not that Belicheck was bad the first few years without Brady, but ho boy was it evident that things weren't right. I think McDaniel lucked into a not terrible offense mismanaged by Brian Flores (do you remember the Ryan Fitzpatrick/Tua rotation?), and then got an MVP candidate WR. I'd argue Kyle Shanahan is a genius equaling and exceeding McDaniel's success with Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance and now Mr. Irrelevent Brock Purdy rather than the guy who once raised the cry "tank for Tua!" 2 Quote
stevestojan Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Random question, but if we end up the 7 seed to the Dolphins 2 seed, would the team even fly back to Buffalo? Quote

Probably. It's not that long of a flight, and training facilities are important. I hope it doesn't come to that. 2 Quote
JohninMinn. Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Due to the magnitude of this game I will be attending the Minneapolis Philharmonic concert instead of watching. The game will be recorded and if the Bills win I will watch it. Good Luck fanatics. We deserve a Super Bowl. 1 1 1 Quote
JerseyBills Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Holy smokes, they're hurting bad at the worse possible time.. And we're basically fully healthy at the perfect time!! Minus Tre and Milano of course 5 Quote
Chandler#81 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 (edited) The last time we played the Dolphins with so much on the line to end the regular season, my kids were in attendance. If I talked like my daughter when I was a kid, my Dad would shove a 3pk of Lifebouy down my throat! https://www.facebook.com/100045489641166/posts/pfbid02F2ThvbgjFXTAhak3zgUKPcbPbTiKTtx4155oLNo8VcPiPZ5kB5YeRC5dByUsrVhLl/? MikePJ76 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Mitch Morse has an illness and is not practicing today, sounds like he might be home. That is not good. He only has two days to recover from whatever it is. Hopefully it is the flu or the big C. Quote

Hopefully but we don't know what the illness is. If its a stomach thing I imagine he is fine sunday. If He has the flu or covid he is going to be feeling weak and tired and will affect him during the game especially since it will be in the 60s and these guys will be sweating more than usual. 1 Quote

Missing practice is fine, keep from spreading to a degree, rest up as much as possible so you are good for the game. Missing a game though? thats B ***** 1 1 Quote

Fish are banged up, missing several starters. We still win easily regardless of team’s limitations. I won’t respond to the rest of your childish nonsense. Even tho Miami is 7-1? At home, I like that this is a rainy, night game Quote

SCBills Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Definitely hope Morse is 100% by Sunday.. The pressure we’ve been seeing the last few weeks has largely come up the middle and looks to be making Allen skiddish in the pocket at times. 2 Quote

There's a lost of nasty stuff going around right now, the filthy beast household has been struggling the last few weeks and you've already seen a lot of players around the league miss time. In fact I was almost wondering if JA17 was sick last week against the Patriots because he did not look good when they showed him on the sidelines at times but I guess it's normal for him when he struggles. 3 Quote
wjag Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I expect a heavy dose of Smyth to the flat, Achane sweeping to the left, and Berrios outside the numbers to the right. They may try and get Claypool on fly routes with single coverage. 1 Quote
