I've said from the start that Mahomes is fake. He's had had an amazing PR team and was drafted into an incredible situation situation. He *is* his brother and his wife. It's not an accident that two of the most annoying and vile hangerons in the NFL are his..

Show some respect for the Most Valuable Bundler. MVB baby!!!

Mahomes isn’t use to losing.

What about Kelce slamming his helmet to the ground. He seems like another crybaby.

Clearly this isn't about Mahomes crying, this is about a very high standard set that is suddenly not there at all, and he's tired of the constant failure to meet the standard.

While he has failed to adapt to it and should shoulder some of the blame for yesterday, the GM clearly has left him in a position where the receiving corps is an absolute s-show when you draft like Billy B for WRs, let a guy like JuJu go and bring in a guy who couldn't even hang with the Giants in Toney.

I echo the comment made where he now has to experience what Josh has had to experience and he can't overcome it. I imagine Brady would have thrown fits similar to Pat if he didn't have reliable pass catchers outside of Gronk... and you all know he would have.

I know I won't be popular for saying it, but I still have a ton of respect & praise for Mahomes as a player & person.

HATE, HATE, HAAAATE him when it comes to playing against him or the excuses made for him in the media, but as a dude, he's cool.

I watched him every game in college, went to most all the home games, know many people who met him during that time, and everyone I know has only said positive things about him. He's always been a vocal & intense competitor, so all the yelling on the sidelines is no big deal. Diggs is like that too.

But do I feel bad that he's struggling this year? HAHAHAHA! Helllll no! The more losses the better! Sorry Patty, can't win em all! 😁

Are you a red raider fan?

Nah. If our guys do that, it’s frustration and passion. It’s not a double standard because it’s Kelce. You’d take him and his helmet toss on this team every day.

It would be funny if KC found a way to lose and they would miss the playoffs after all the talk about Buffalo missing.  The world might explode.  I mean, it could happen.  KC is playing like ass right now and the Bengals are no pushover even without Burrow.  Chargers can play pretty tough.  Never know.

I mean most qbs cry. Brady cried. Rivers cried. Allen flops to sell calls.

dude isn’t used to losing and is acting like a baby. They have surrounded him with the one of the worst offensive groups and it has to be frustrating.

Yeah, that was weirder to me. I’m not even sure what he was mad about.

wow, another episode of as the crybaby turns.  the public and his team can forgive one instance but this one is going to sting.  his team support and advertising likeability are imploding before our eyes.  not quite the affable stoic hero any more.

I didn't even think about that.  That would be pretty freaking awesome!

Two teams the Ravens want no part of are the Bills and the Browns, and not in that order.

It’s funny to me when we have supposed Bills fans on this board who seem to think they need to carry on crusades for other teams/players (I’m looking at you, @thenorthremembers).  I’m pretty satisfied right now knowing the Chiefs are going to have to win at least one road playoff game to get to the Super Bowl.  I won’t ever discount Mahomes but clearly that offense is a shell of its former self.

I don’t need to tell myself Josh is “better” than Mahomes, and Kermit’s accomplishments to date are unprecedented, but anyone watching the games can see that right now Josh is playing at a higher level.  Mahomes has the best defense he has had at KC and they have their worst record.

All of my focus right now is on two 1:00 games on Sunday that will be on side-by-side screens.

I think I said it in one of my posts, maybe not, but I'd love to see Josh be the greatest of all time when he is done.  I loathe the Chiefs, and would very much like to see them fall off the face of the NFL landscape.

But, the question asked was why everyone thinks Mahomes is better than Allen, and I am not going to let my Fandom completely cloud my ability to have a real conversation.  And to this point in their careers Mahomes has been better in every category.  The conversation was never strictly about this year.

Letting your emotional connection to something get in the way of your ability to understand reason and logic is a really bad way to go through life.   I've been a Bills fan for 35 years, have coached football for the last 10.  Never thought I'd have my allegiance and football knowledge ripped apart because I had the audacity to say a guy with multiple Super Bowl wins and MVPs is a little better than Josh.

If it makes you guys feel better I've bought spent hundreds of dollars on Josh Allen merchandise for my family and truly think Mahomes looks like Darlene from Roseanne.

I've thought for years that the Mahomes we see publicly is a mix of success and very carefully crafted PR department work. His sense of entitlement just really chaps my ass.

I think that's probably true of every NFL star.  I don't for a minute expect that the Josh Allen face we see and the carefully crafted words he says, are the same he is every moment of the day and in private.  Do you?

But yes, Mahomes has had great success and it does seem to have bred a sense of entitlement there.

I agree 100%. No one is who they are in front of the camera in the NFL. I would offer up that there are some guys that are closer to the role they show in interviews, however. Allen would be one that seems a bit more genuine. Dak Prescott is another. Of course, full transparency, I thought Watson was a class act at the start of his career as well, so to your point you never really know.

I love the idea that he was crapping on his O-Line on national TV.

I can see the wheels turning now for some of those guys... "what free rusher?".

Adversity brings out the best and the worst in folks. Seeing it play out in KC this season and where is Mahomes ownership throwing that weak pick six with that defender watching his eyes all the way?

Depends on how it happens…that chiefs defense is really good and it’s the reason they’ve been winning this year

It’s not just a rough patch for the kc offense….theyve looked off all season

Maybe Bienemy was a better coach than we thought

How was he crapping on his oline? Have you ever played football? Those conversations have multiple times a game. He bought them custom golf carts and tried motivating them to play better. I would love to be crapped on like that.

He is. The fact he is making Sam Howell look like a passable nfl starter is proof enough.
