Lamar is playing really well.  One thing I notice is that he seems to be eluding just about every defender near him in the backfield and making a great throw to an open WR.  It makes me wonder how sustainable this is, because at some point he’s not going to be able to escape

They will still need to win to secure the 1 seed though

Plus...if Ravens lose tonight Miami will see the number one seed in their grasp next week.

The Lamar Jackson for MVP talk is a joke

The Ravens had been led by their defense for the most part all year, and Jackson's numbers are pedestrian in comparison to Allen

Just make it the QB on the team with the best record award if you wanna give it to Lamar

No way is Lamar more overrated than Purdy. At least he makes plays that change the game. Even if he is inconsistent as a passer. Purdy just follows the script.

But when you're that good following the script, who cares? Let's also not pretend that all the INTs were his fault, especially when so many defend Josh when similar things happen to him (dropped/tipped passes, hit while being thrown).

Lamar can make plays, but it's a hell of a lot easier to score when you get so many extra opportunities & have a short field. His numbers aren't anything special this year either, especially not compared to his 2019 seaosn. He has HALF the passing the TDs, more turnovers, and less rushing TDs (even with 2019 being a 16 game season).

Yeah what people are going to look at first is Baltimore’s records which probably will be the best in the league.

From a statistical standpoint, he doesn’t really compare to the others.

He has played awesome and looked like an MVP tonight, and sometimes the last thing you see sticks with people so we’ll see if he can replicate this next week

Purdy is leaving his receivers out to get hit hard.

He's just having an awful night all around.

That's always been the reason for hope for the rest of the flawed NFC competitors - Purdy against a good D, particularly when playing from behind, is still very much unproven.
