Sierra Foothills Posted December 26, 2023 Author Posted December 26, 2023 Incredibly there's still plenty of time for San Francisco to come back and win this game. 2 1 Quote
JohnNord Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Lamar is playing really well. One thing I notice is that he seems to be eluding just about every defender near him in the backfield and making a great throw to an open WR. It makes me wonder how sustainable this is, because at some point he’s not going to be able to escape Quote
Punch Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 This game is taking so long, there's still plenty of time for San Francisco to score 3 TDs. 1 1 Quote

BeastMaster Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 The Lamar Jackson for MVP talk is a joke The Ravens had been led by their defense for the most part all year, and Jackson's numbers are pedestrian in comparison to Allen Just make it the QB on the team with the best record award if you wanna give it to Lamar Quote
scuba guy Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 That hit shows how much of an athletic person deebo is Quote
Punch Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Watching McCaffrey, Deebo and Kittle, it's impossible to accept they're human. 1 Quote

Weirdly boring for a game between teams with the best records and various explosive players. I don't know if I'll stick around much longer. Quote
Warcodered Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 That was an awfully late holding flag being thrown. 1 Quote

Even if he is inconsistent as a passer. Purdy just follows the script. But when you're that good following the script, who cares? Let's also not pretend that all the INTs were his fault, especially when so many defend Josh when similar things happen to him (dropped/tipped passes, hit while being thrown). Lamar can make plays, but it's a hell of a lot easier to score when you get so many extra opportunities & have a short field. His numbers aren't anything special this year either, especially not compared to his 2019 seaosn. He has HALF the passing the TDs, more turnovers, and less rushing TDs (even with 2019 being a 16 game season). Quote

Stads Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Down 21 and still throwing passes behind the line of scrimmage Quote

From a statistical standpoint, he doesn’t really compare to the others. He has played awesome and looked like an MVP tonight, and sometimes the last thing you see sticks with people so we’ll see if he can replicate this next week Quote
die hard bills fan Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Purdy is leaving his receivers out to get hit hard. Quote

That's always been the reason for hope for the rest of the flawed NFC competitors - Purdy against a good D, particularly when playing from behind, is still very much unproven. 1 Quote
Gunsgoodtime Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 They playing for that 1 seed next week Quote
