Thought it would be nice living on bottom half of world when Christmas was warm (many trips to Hawaii for Christmas) but realized that even in summer it is not very warm living there. Yeah, it took us a couple years of trying to force the "Northern Hemisphere" style Christmas before we realized that the Kiwi way was the better way, so we changed and never looked back. Now it's barbecue and drinks on the deck for us. Quote
