ONE team in the whole conference. TWO teams in the entire NFL. No other team looks like a dominant championship caliber team Quote

Einstein's Dog Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 I feel so much better with the win! I would have been in a terrible, depressed mood through Christmas had we lost. Now I can watch the other football games with a lot of interest and in a good mood. On another note I didn't feel bad about this win at all until reading the negativity on this board. I didn't view this as the Bills getting lucky, I thought they won despite facing an unusual amount of adversity. The Bills overcame several tick tacky calls - one that negated the first interception and one that took away a nice gainer and pinned them back. They turned it over more than they should/usually do. Yet they still won. My view of the Bills as an incredibly dangerous team has not changed. I am hooked. 2 Quote

Honestly, I feel relieved. If we had lost that game last night, it would have taken the wind out of my sails and it would have made the holiday less better. But knowing that we got the W and I can just sit back and relax and enjoy the 1pm games and then spend time with family later and be able to just enjoy the holiday makes it that much better. Merry Christmas Bills fans. Enjoy your holiday. Go Bills immense relief…. Two good things yesterday Bills win, Bengals loss as frustrating as it was that they almost blew it, Allen threw that pass to Shakir in the face of a jailbreak blitz 1 Quote

He threw that about 25 yards off his back foot with 10 guys in his face and still made that play. Amazing 2 Quote
TFBillsfan Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 Feeling a heckuva lot better than the alternative. We are at the point in the season for the Bills of just win and advance. I’m not sure why this team seems to consistently make it harder on themselves than it should be. My heart can barely take it. Can we at least have a nice comfortable win against NE. When this team is hitting on all cylinders they are so good. But far too often they can’t get out of their own way. When the Bills lose it’s usually what they are doing to themselves and not what the opponent is doing. McDermott really needs to address this in the off season. Let’s keep it rolling against NE! Let’s go Dallas, Atlanta and Raiders!!!!! Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 We were due for a letdown in a short week after battling hard against great teams for three weeks…I’m not sure how much carryover to future games there will be. Guess we’ll find out Quote

The anti Bills officiating was blatant and nothing more than the NFL helping out their little Peacock experiment. The Bills did look sluggish, sloppy and jet lagged on a short week. We played poorly yet won on the road. That's all that matters. Clean some stuff up and get ready for a home revenge game. 2 Quote
TheWei44 Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 I think, in a way, it's actually beneficial to win the way they did last night. A good reminder that nothing's guaranteed. And I embrace the idea that only a good team is able to win a game with a -3 turnover differential. It was exceedingly stressful but we can all now chill and enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend! On that near-end-of-game throw to Shakir, I thought Josh was just throwing it away - I was stunned that it was a completion - that was next level. 2 Quote

Hate Goodell's experiments - you make Bills hold a home game in London and send us to west coast on short week on pay-per-view game. Thanks for being Goodell's toady AWS. I will remember that when I am next doing an system evaluation to discount AWS. Stayed up to 3:30 am watching game (Game was delayed for some NFL Network talking heads which I muted and avoided looking at it mostly since they have flashed game scores in past). I slept before game for a 2.5 hours so unable to go to back to sleep so I am grumpy today. We were only mostly dead at the half. Quote
Jeffalo Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 Before the game started I thought this would be the most difficult of the final three. I hope I am proved correct. 1 1 Quote
