Since, you know, they looked like garbage, and won by the skin of their teeth against an inferior opponent. The sad reality is that they came within inches of being "the same old Bills." The "they're hot and steamrolling into the playoffs" is just a pipe dream now. Likely one and done. Bring on the blinders wearing homer thumbs downs and red Xs. LOL BUT , they didn't😅 go look back at all super bowl winners, they are littered with these type of wins. Did i like it🤕 not at all but onward they go. 4 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 (edited) Won on a short week, time change etc etc... wasnt pretty but you win and move on... learn how to prepare better during adverse circumstances... still a win is win and at least they beat the hockey stick. Beast Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 I’m sure it was a tough game in that the Chargers probably did implement a few wrinkles the Bills hadn’t seen on film. They had 9 days to prepare. On the other hand, just a sloppy offensive/special teams game. All 3 of those Bills turnovers were just horrible. The W is all that matters. Fix the sloppiness. 4 3 Quote
Warcodered Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 I tried to find the one from the Giants game because it was shorter and didn't involve the Dolphins but this still works. Why is it always ***** like this. 😭 2 1 Quote

I don’t even understand how Lamar is in the conversation. His stats would match a QB in the 80s and 90s not today NFL 1 Quote

End of game situations like this. They are consistently settling / coming up only with FG. This team needs to END games on OFFENSE! 1 3 1 1 1 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 Credit to McDermott for leaving Cook in there after that fumble. 5 1 Quote

Win by 2 or 22 it’s still a win. Been rooting for this team forever, it’s never been easy and probably never will be. I like style points too. they got plenty in the Dallas game. But yeah NFL is just win by 1 point and move on. And to win with -3 turnover margin is impressive. That’s probably like a 95% loss when you lose the margin that bad. 3 Quote

Lol yea obviously if you were just given a td we’d choose that 😂. What if you throw a couple incomplete passes and settle for a fg anyway and the chargers preserve their timeouts? Then your whole ‘he’s led 5 fg drives’ point comes in…he led 0 fg drives when only having 30 seconds and no timeouts 1 Quote
SydneyBillsFan Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 The best thing about this game apart from the dub - that Terrell Bernard did not tear an Achilles tendon, which was my immediate reaction when he started limping on that non-contact play. 1 2 Quote
Iverwig Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 Bills had to beat the Chargers, refs, and the announcers tonight 1 2 3 Quote

Against this team, each play where the clock kept running increased our chances of winning. If we scored quick, we had to make a 2 point still. 1 Quote
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 I'll give it to the Chargers: they came to play. They had little to play for other than pride and they still brought it. But it's only close with 3 bad turnovers 2 2 Quote
DCofNC Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 Biggest take away for me, I’ll just put my TV on mute any time Collinsworth is calling a game from now on, I hate the sound of the man’s voice at this point. 3 Quote
HomeskillitMoorman Posted December 24, 2023 Posted December 24, 2023 We lived to see another day, that's the most important thing here. It was over if we lost this game. This is a pretty flawed team and I still think coaching is still a big issue. But right now just getting into the dance is everything. Had to have it. 1 1 Quote
