So is he a LB or is he a "LB"?

Here’s where I’m at. If he is an actually LB then maybe not a bad move. But I will say Dotson has been playing very well lately. And Bernard is a stud. For a backup and keep on PS maybe but not sure he wants that.

Johnson & Johnson calling Joe Douglas: "Sign this guy!"

Douglas: "Read his conditions..."

I mean, former Panther...

That should void need for a physical, and include a 25% salary bonus.  'Friends and Family'.

I’d expect him to go to the Ravens or KC.  If he’s smart, he’d join SF

He played for the Ravens last season under Mike McDonald, so he's familiar with the Ravens scheme.  He signed a 1 year, $6M contract with Carolina so it's possible the Ravens would have liked him back if he came cheaper.

I'm guessing he asked for his release because he had an inkling (*nudge nudge wink wink*) that the Ravens might take him back

Not sure he's a great scheme fit for KC or 49ers?

He's a 3-4 LOLB and probably maps into a 4-3 LDE.  His pro-bowl years were with Bob Sutton as a LOLB in KC, 8-10 yrs ago.

He had 9.5 sacks and 17 QB Hits for the Poe-Birds last year.

Leonard Floyd up to 10.5 and 19 with 3 games left to go

Baltimore is the perfect fit for him and he was already there I believe.

Same for KC.

Buffalo should think about making this happen just to keep him away.

Maybe a strategically placed mat somewhere near Vons locker to make room on the roster.

Yeah that’s why I think he’ll sign there.  He was very productive last season in Baltimore and that’s where I expect him to sign. KC might be desperate, so I can see them making an attempt.  Joining SF will give him the best chance at a ring

I don’t view him as a scheme problem anywhere.  He’s a designated pass rusher.  Line him up and let him get after it.

As several posters have mentioned, Baltimore makes a ton of sense, since he used to play there.  Didn't he also play for KC not too long ago?  I could swear he was with them the year they lost to NE on Dee Ford's Offside penalty, and probably the year after as well.

If he wanted to sign with the Bills, I'd have no objection as long as he's got something left in the tank.  I think the above 2 are way more likely though, unless maybe either Floyd or Miller got hurt.
